"No?" Logan questioned, following Beatrice to get an explanation for what she meant. He licked his lips and then asked, "Did he tell you? It's not fair for you to get involved when it is up to Annalise to make a choice. I am just as deserving of her as he is."

Beatrice looked around the hall to make sure there weren't any maids listening. "Logan, I'm a woman. I can tell when another woman is not interested in a man courting her. I will leave you two boys to figure it out, but once again, no."
