I love you

Kacchan stared me down with his bright red eyes for a while but soon realized I was watching him sleep.

"Wait h-how the hell did I get here?!" He jumped up from the bed, looking around the room. I explained to him everything that happened after the fight. A slight tint of pink spread across his face as he put a pillow over his face.

"H-how much of the fight did you hear anyways.." he mumbled. "Pretty much all of it" I grabbed at my nape awkwardly. "How do you feel??" I asked worryingly. "What do ya think?? I feel like I got my ass kicked" he chuckled softly. I still couldn't believe he did something like that for me...

before I knew it tears were rolling down my face. I was still confused and I wasn't sure how to react to the bold action. Kacchans eyes widened. "Hey, Its not that big of a deal anyway so forget it." He looked away blushing. "It really pissed me off knowing that he permanently damaged your fingers, I couldn't let that slide." He mumbled softly.

"But, it was the sports festival kacchan, the point of a sports festival is to-" I didn't realize that I was rambling for so long. I went on and on about the importance of the festival. Kacchan was getting really annoyed but listened to my rambling rolling his eyes. "damn nerd" he mumbled under his breath. After a while of listening to my rambling, kacchan finally had enough. He grabbed my face roughly and smashed his lips into mine. My eyes widened. I couldn't believe what was happening

I pulled away from kacchan and we were both blushing. "Y-you were pissing me off with your rambling, you damn deku." He turned on his side facing his back towards me. I was speechless.

A million things were going through my head, But the thought that stood out, was that I wanted to kiss him again. All those years of being by his side , I never realized how much I needed him. Without thinking anymore, I pulled on his shirt to get his attention.

"What nerd!!"  As he turned his face towards mine, I struggled to say what I wanted to tell home.

"k-kacchan... I-I love you!!" Kacchan sat up from his bed and grabbed my face once again, this time placing his lips on mine softer than he did before. As the kiss deepened, I leaned back in my chair. all of a sudden, the infirmary door swung open. The nurse walked in and said, "well the good news is-"she dropped all of her paperwork "o-oh my" Kacchan and I disconnected  our lips. It was the most embarrassing moment of my life. I ran to help her pick up her papers. I thought "what If she tells all might?!" She noticed my worried look and laughed. "your secrets safe with me boy." I bow quickly and run off but accidentally trip over myself. Kacchan chuckled and raised his voice "just get out of here you idiot" he rolls his eyes smiling, unimpressed with me. I couldn't have been more embarrassed, I ran to class as fast as I could.

When I arrived to class I acted like nothing happened. I couldn't stop thinking about kacchan, his spiky blond hair and eyes red like fire. I've known him my whole life, but I never realized how attractive he was. I shook my head realizing I was daydreaming. After class I grabbed my backpack and walked to the gates of the school. Kacchan ran to catch up to me and hugged me from behind.

"K-kacchan Y-your healed!?"I exclaimed. "Yeah that old hag me go." I don't know why but I started laughing. "Huh?? So the stuck up nerd knows to take a joke!" Kacchan smiled. That was the first time I had seen him so happy around me. "You know deku, I never answered you confession..." He grabbed my hand. My heart was pounding wondering what he would say. "I love you too izuku." My face started to light up. "Izuku?? No damn nerd, or bastard??" Kacchan started to laugh, he tussled with my hair a bit before looking deeply into my eyes. "Walk home with me." Kacchan was blushing as he squeezed my hand tightly. I held it back not regretting anything.

We walked to up to my apartment so I let go of his hand. I walked only a couple steps before being pulled in for a kiss on the cheek. He let go of me rolling his eyes. "Get outta here nerd."

As I walked up to my apartment I stopped and realized, "I just had my first kiss with katsuki bakugo."
