I - The Father

He was running, running as fast as he could, having already depleted most of his energy using all his movement-based skills. He was panicking, his own family was after his head and his newborn sons head. "I need to at least save my son, that should be a father's responsibility."

Soon, he entered into a forest area, with his son still in his arm, he could hear shouting, inching closer and closer, it seemed to him that they would eventually catch up to him and force him and his son to be imprisoned. He had no choice but to part with his son, he knew that there was a village near his current location, it was filled with beasts however so he would have to take the risk.

He navigated towards the village, however, his son started to cry, "Shh.. please stop, your daddy is here, don't cry, real men like us would never cry, so stop crying my son, I know this is hard but if I don't live on, I know at least you will. You are my son, and I know you will become powerful when you grow up, so be happy."

His son slowly quieted down, he was glad as he knew his family was closing in, but this also meant he had even less time, he got distracted calming his son down. Seeing no other choice, he rammed through towards the distance left to the village not caring whether beasts were alerted. He was travelling at his fastest pace possible now. Three kilometers left... two... one... He could see the village now, his son had real hopes of surviving.

He arrived there, tailing him were a few beasts, he left his son at the entrance of the village as he feared the beasts would enter as well. He parted off kissing his son's forehead and whispering to him what is most likely the last time he will ever see him, "Goodbye my son, fate has parted us, I just hope fate will pull us together once more..." He ran off into the distance attracting his families attention.

And finally, in the distance, you could see that a man had been captured, without a single tear on his face, like a real man, a now nameless person once said.

"Do we look for your son Mistress?"

*SLAP*

"Don't you dare say that filth is my son, we will keep on searching, but if he is not to be found, it is fate's decision. If he is found however, kill him on sight, there is to be no mercy to what that child's father has done."

"Yes Mistress."

It seems fate plays a big factor in this chapter even though it plays no role in the physical sense...

Anyone notice that the father is always referred to as 'He' ? Hmmmm
