Chapter 7

Chapter 7:

"…huff…. huff..." My lungs burned as sweat dripped off my skin onto the floor below.

It has almost been 8 years here and 1 day on the outside world. I spent most of my days with Layla, and when she has to go to the library to check if there are any anomalies, I train my body again.

My body has remained the same apart from getting much stronger. Due to my relentless training, I have unlocked Touki for this body. Touki is very essential if you are a human who wants to fight the big leagues among the supernatural.

Touki is usually used by practitioners of Senjutsu, but through extremely excessive training anyone can unlock Touki. Touki is translated as, Fighting Spirit, and it surrounds the body in a pale gray aura which increases the user's strength, speed, and durability by massive amounts.

I had a theory in the past which could create those humanoid figures in an anime, I succeeded but it weakened me. I think it's called JoJo's or something? The figure took my Concept for itself allowing me to use him as a weapon. The problem is I can't stop my bodies time from aging for some devious reason, so I eventually forgot about it.

Humans are the weakest race, Touki as an upgrade is a blessing for us, as well as Stands which I didn't teach anyone about... I think?

Haaa… let's forget about it.

My body is tightly compacted, and it is like that of a gymnast, sacrificing strength for speed and agility.

I chose to do so because I was used to it and it just works combining it with my concept. I am mostly a mage throwing off spells and if Injured will just revert back my injuries though sometimes I like engaging in close quarter combat using spears. Combine that with my Concept, I'm fast as heck.

Another way to increase my strength using the spear was one I discovered in my last life. A stunning example of human perseverance. I was wondering off with Honkizaru in that life, and so I decided to settle down on a rather remove village in China.

There I witnessed a young boy dedicate his entire life to the pursuit of a single technique. Every morning he would get up and train for all hours of the day before finally resting at sunset.

He did it on and on, continuously pursuing his single-minded passion. I finally decided to teach him some of my own techniques with the spear. His talent was prodigious but unfortunately my time soon came to an end due to that Gacha roll curse, I still don't know how I died even with good control of my concept back then.

When I was at my final moments, he finally finished his technique and showed it to me. The technique he showed could only be described as impossible. But in that technique, I was able to sense something I have never seen before. The farm boy's relentless dedication gave birth to a slither of something never before witnessed in this world.

Spear Intent.

Throughout all my years of mastery with the spear, I had never witnessed Spear Intent only heard of it in Wuxia novels, unlike Sword intent. I quickly asked him how he achieved it, and he could only respond saying becoming one with his spear.

I, of course, didn't believe him and passed on unfortunately. Now in this era, I read some Wuxia only learning that it was garbage compared to my real worlds one. I replicated the True Longinus Spear using my concept and attempting to copy his technique and 'becoming one with the spear'.

I failed, and failed and failed…

And so every day I trained with Layla observing telling me to eat time to time. I stopped training at some moments and thought of giving up.

My only hint was at my disciple's words and technique, 'to become one with the spear', It doesn't make sense, I asked Layla if she had some books that could help me. She gave me a book about the spear, technique's, and everything! None!

So, I ignored my doubts and did just as my student did before me, persevered.

I ignored the signs of my body giving up with Layla telling me not to over stress it much and it'll come by to you,

"You know you've been stressing it too much"

"I know." I said as I continued doing my disciple's technique,

"You should take a break, me and Honkizaru are over there" She pointed towards a table outside of our house,

"…Okay" I replied giving her a smile then continued on while She still watching me and shrugging before going to the table and seat.

My training continued on for a while until I felt it.

My eyes steeled with absolute focus onto my hands, it was melting becoming no longer a weapon, but an extension of my body instead. My eyes began to glance over as tunnel vision took over. But soon, enlightenment hit as the fog in my brain was finally penetrated.

I felt the spear in my hand resonate as if we became connected. I realized then and there, I am the spear, and the spear is me, our intents were no different, we were the same.

At that moment I felt it once more. All my movement came to a halt as my eyes darted to the edge of my blade, barely witnessing a black aura dissipate from the edge,

"I DID IT!"

I finally achieved my goal. The reward of relentless I was shown to by my disciple, the ability to achieve the unachievable, perseverance.

The joy never dissipated as I got into a stance, a copy of the True Longinus appeared once more and was firmly grasped in between both my hands with the blade pointed outwards in front of me. The Spear was pointed at a Tree further than 10 meters away from me. He didn't name this and so…

And at that moment, I thrusted outwards,

"S̷̹̙͌̈́̒͝͝ṷ̸̺͉̤̾͂̅̈́ͅí̵̢̛̗͑͑̂͂̋͊͋̃j̷̨̈͗͌͆̓̑̇̍ī̴̡̧̳̻̲͍͔̙̖͕̆͌̆͌̋̑̚͝ ̶̛̮̾̈́͋̒͗̿̀̇͝y̷̮̖̱̤̹̎͆í̶̝̜̳̟̒̽̉͊ḏ̷̰͔̘͔̬̱̳͇̟̎ò̸̝̣̟̩͎̞͍̗̼̲͆̈́̋n̵̫̳̘̦̟̤͋͜ͅg̵͖͌́̀̏̚͝"

The laws of space bended to the Spear Intent projected as the one thrust turned and twisted, into three. The three deadly spears rushed towards the tree making an inescapable prison from all sides. The tip of the spear closed in so quickly that it bent the laws of physics to multiply its existence, using the Spear Intent to transcend speed, dexterity, feints, and many other elements.

This is the greatest technique I had ever used of the spear since it entered the stage of reality breaking. I once more used Spear Intent on the copy of the True Longinus and now it emitted a small dark aura around the edge…

Ah, so that's it huh?

Spear Intent Focuses on making your techniques stronger and weapon as well allowing you to project an aura of blades into the weapon like Sword Intent… While Sword Intent only strengthens the techniques and speed of your cuts.

My dear disciple, you've made me proud.

A/N: This is like a copy of the chapter in King of Swords but a bit changed though not so much... I'm quite disappointed that I didn't get much ideas to change more things... The Peace Summit arc is where the juicy shit is at and after that is some of my pure original arcs that I like a bit.

Also spare me from the hate comments, saying this is a copy or shit... I already know that and I've put up a review saying some shit like that, kindly fuck outta here...

If not... ɎØɄ'ⱤɆ ₲Øł₦₲ ₮Ø Ⱨ₳VɆ ₳ ฿₳Đ ₮ł₥Ɇ, ฿ØɎ.
