Six Tubes Buddha
Honest reviews are here.. Giving 3 stars, as saying that this novel is not bad, but it is not that good either.. If you are looking for a solo player here, you wouldn't find it.. He joined the guild on the 1st day he played this VR game.. The novel title "The King of Passive Skill" is his talent where he can get monster skill after kill them with a chance 1:1,000,000.. MC almost told everyone honestly who asked him about his talent, his luck value (9/10), and the skill MC copy from the monster.. The title is "The King bla bla bla," but the MC himself is a subordinate (MC joined guild, he is not a guild leader).. Every chapter is very long (I like a long chapter).. MC stat is invisible to us (reader) sometimes. You can try to read, and you would understand what I mean.. lol.. MC is a bit naive where he trusts many people easily, with no future plan and not caution type of player.. MC progress is not fast but no slow either, but it might seem slow because of the long chapter for every chapter. Plus, boring story development might contribute as seeing MC progress as slow. When read it, they were no excitement, curiousity, and awesomeness feeling.. The story is quite bland.. Depending on what genre you are looking for, you might hate this, and as for me, it is boring but not frustrated by it.. There are a lot more others novel that frustrated and annoyed us to die by the author bullying/torturing MC (I am sure you guys understand what I mean)..
i didn't read much but the didn't even started yet i have read 7 chapter , they hyping the game , character design is not good , story development is weak , i didn't read beyond chapter 40 but after reading reviews i know something : this is that kind of novel when you start paying it will drop the quality .
Overall, this book is a decent read. However, the synopsis is very misleading. He needs to be low key, yet every moment so far is like 'I'm the Best!'. He goes on to say needs to be a loner yet joins a guild right away. So not sure there. Also, while the translation was great for the free chapters. It is utterly horrible for the stones you have to pay for it. Do not waste your stones!
The first 20 or 30 chapters are fun to read. After that the English gets BAD, fights can go on for more than a chapter and the story gets boring. The protagonist gets a pet pretty soon, it is cute and boom, that is it, after one cute behavior the pet is just a tool. It dies? So what? Conjure it again. Attack! No petting, no talking to the pet, no interaction at all. Summon it and let it tank until it dies. Do you think this is interesting to read? If I'd be interested in all these attack numbers, defense numbers and whatever numbers I'd find a phone book interesting too.
Really boring to read, first ten chapters are about him grinding Chikens and info dumps. His “passive king skill” isn’t that big of an advantage, since it only works 1 in a million chance. I don’t really have a problem about him sharing his skill info since he hasn’t played games in years. And doesn’t know any better.
I think everyone has been spoiled with novels like King's Avatar and RSSG to the point that everyone is expecting most of the game genre novels to be written in that style. This is the only novel I've read so far that actually reminds me of my early MMO gaming days. The newness, the unknown, the willingness to share without caring if someone was gonna backstab you or not. Everyone would share and create a guild in order to achieve something higher like end game content. All of this is expressed through a noob player like the MC and it's okay. It's not cringe, and not full of jaded emotions and hate. And I'm kinda here for it. Granted I'm only at Chapter 13 but so far so good.
another game novel with 0 real stakes, i personally can never continue reading these because i never experience excitement when theres nothing really to risk, no real danger, also i heavily disagree with the mc so easily showing off his skill to actual strangers in game, and then showing his skill to the entire guild he joins(after he previously said he wouldnt join guilds btw)
I don’t agree with the whole sharing stats is stupid thing. Eventually someone will find out and with how ruthless the information sharing is in this universe somebody’s gonna know later on even if he doesn’t tell. Besides it actually helps him for everyone to know bc if they know how powerful he is they will stay away and his guild has to try harder to keep him
There's already enough bed reviews on here so I'm going to talk about the things that I like about the story. I really like how his cheats doesn't make him overpowered right at the start it takes a while of grinding for him to start becoming overpowered compared to his peers Another thing I don't get is that there's a couple different people reviewing about his really good amount of luck not being used. LIKE WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT not only is he looking if to get the first Divine level weapon his cheat literally says one in a million to get the skill and he pretty much gets it right off the bat or just with a little bit of grinding if that isn't the luck coming into play I don't know what it is and people are also complaining about in combat his luck isn't taking place which in most video games the look stat if there is one is usually related to the drops/random encounters and usually never related to combat
