Childhood Promise

When Amelia woke up from her daydream, she unconsciously had tears running down her cheeks, "Jay finally I met you again" she answered softly.

Yes he had left Jay without explanation, and owed him a promise

That time after he returned home

He was brought by his two masters immediately returned to his hometown because they received news that his grandfather had died

And so he had to leave the city and return to his hometown, he thought at first it would only take a few days

Because his grandmother only had one child, namely his mother, automatically after his grandfather's death his mother had to stay in the village to take care of him

This inevitably changes all of Amelia's plans, she feels guilty for leaving Jay without a word

On the other hand, he had no way of telling Jay about his condition because his mother's hometown was in remote areas and far from urban areas.

So that telephones and post offices are only available in sub-districts which incidentally are not affordable for children their age

Until the time his parents moved to a better area, because of the success of his parents' business, Jay took the time to find out about Amelia for the last time.

From his search by asking the neighbours near Amelia's house, he knew that Amelia had to go rushing to her hometown that day because her grandfather died.

And for the rest he doesn't know, asking the hometown where Amelia's grandfather is, unfortunately, no one knows

So Jay ended his search with broken information, and on that very day, he and his family moved to their new Diaman in Kota Jaya.

Until many years passed destiny showed its strength, those who had been separated for a dozen years

Meeting in a place they didn't expect and under unimaginable circumstances, gently holding the small pendant around her neck there was a doubt that was raging in Amelia's heart.

Does Jay still recognize him? Or has he forgotten it? she doesn't know how to react when Jay doesn't know her? when does Jay reveal that he doesn't remember that promise? So what will he do?

Since that separation, Amelia had been trying hard to get her mother to go back to their house in the city

But getting a strong rejection from his mother, for some reason his mother refused he didn't know

Realizing this, Amelia immerses herself in studying and trying to get a good academic achievement

For the sake of being able to go to school in a city that allows her to meet Jay again, and make an explanation for her sudden disappearance

Until one day he saw his parents fighting and soon they divorced, his father left him and his mother in the village

After the divorce, her mother suffered from severe depression, so Amelia's youth was spent taking care of her mother

Until she is an adult and gets a scholarship to study in the city, Amelia feels happy, but her happiness doesn't last long

not when his mother finally died because he could not stand the liver disease he was suffering, while for his grandmother it was early to leave them

Be Amelia, a rock, and with a dream and a dream she set out to leave her hometown to go to college and start a new life.

And there is one thing that still keeps him motivated even though he has gone through so many trials, namely hopes and dreams to meet Jay again.

After waiting for almost twenty minutes Jay's figure came back into the room, this time Jay brought the food on the plate that had been prepared for Amelia

"Now you won't be hungry anymore," Jay said as he showed Amelia the food he brought

"How do you want to eat alone or I will prepare?" Jay asked kindly

"Nah I'll eat myself, thanks Jay in advance, but where's the food for you?" asked Amelia again

Feeling Amelia's concern, Jay feels warm in his heart, somehow his heart always feels soft with Amelia

"It was time to prepare food for you, so you can freely eat it" Jay replied back

"Okay then" Amelia replied and tried to get out of bed

With Jay's help, Amelia finally managed to sit up and lean on the bed, giving Amelia some food

And seeing the difficulty and pain when spooning food Jay became impatient, saying "let me feed you, you look in pain and it's hard to eat it yourself" Jay said to Amelia

Without waiting for further rejection from Amelia, Jay immediately took the bowl that was in Amelia's hand

So with great care and patience, Jay feeds Amelia, the two of them don't talk much just enjoy this moment in peace

As for Amelia, I don't know how long she hasn't felt this kind of painstaking and patient care and attention

His heartfelt very warm and touched, for some reason when Jay finished the last bite for him

There is a feeling of unwillingness and unreconciled, he wants to continue to be noticed and loved like this, especially the person he has been looking for is now in front of him

And at this time his heart became chaotic his mind became chaotic, only tears dripping suddenly as an expression of his emotions

Seeing Amelia suddenly crying in front of him for some reason Jay became confused and there was a feeling of sadness that he couldn't express in his heart

As if he also felt pain when he saw Amelia cry, subconsciously his finger reached out and wiped away Amelia's flowing tears with his finger.

Feeling a gentle caress on her cheek Amelia who was originally crying and bowed her head up, and subconsciously looked at Adi with deep longing

Being stared at by Amelia with a deep gaze, Jay became confused for a moment he was stunned and didn't move.

Until suddenly Amelia threw her body at him, and by reflex, she grabbed him tightly
