"How was your time alone with the prince?" Linda inquired, curious about whether Hazel enjoyed herself or if she fought with Tobias. She hoped that it went well because she had started to feel guilty about leaving Hazel.

"You should first apologise to me for leaving me with him. What was the deal you made with him? I hope it doesn't have anything to do with Edgar," Hazel said though she had a feeling it did.

Linda's feelings for Edgar were obvious so of course Tobias would use it to his advantage. Hazel wished she couldn't believe that Linda would accept the deal and leave her with Tobias, but she knew how much Linda loved Edgar and that she wouldn't turn down whatever Tobias proposed.
