Sierra knew they were never friends, and perhaps they could never become friends. But deep down, she thought perhaps their relationship had improved over time. After all, Cassandra could've chosen to return to her home kingdom for aid instead. 

Sierra's words seemed to have an effect on Cassandra. The Royal Consort slumped in her chair with a look of defeat at the realization. She did not speak for a while, likely still trying to process the situation. 

When she finally did, she looked up at Sierra, "But why would you help me? Don't you hate me?"

"Hate you? Whatever for?" Sierra returned the question, "We might have had our differences, but I thought we've grown past that."

"Helping you is beneficial for all of us anyways," she said as she crossed her arms, "So I don't see why I shouldn't have done so."
