About “one leaf autumn” in chinese it is“一叶之秋” “一”means :one “叶”means:leaf “之”is an auxiliary word “秋”:means:autumn it means “a leaf of autumn” about“一叶之秋”,it is said that Su Mu Cheng wrote a wrong word accidentally, she wrote“知”as“之”,but who knows if she is intentional.(。ò ∀ ó。)they have the same pronunciation. Su Mu Cheng'brother is Su Mu Qiu(苏沐秋),he is YeXiu' s good friend。 so,“一叶之秋”means : Su Mu Qiu is Ye Xiu'Su Mu Qiu,full of Bromance(ಡωಡ) Another view is that “秋” means Ye Qiu(叶秋),Ye Qiu is Ye Xiu' younger brother😱...... so which one would you support? and about the original name “一叶知秋”, “知” means:know。this idiom means that “One falling leaf indicates the coming fall.” and it is often used to express that:a small sign can indicate a great trend。 this idiom is from“《淮南子·说山训》:见一叶落而知岁之将暮”,written in Han dynasty,1st century BC.

Chapter 950's title, Blossoms and Blood Reappear, is actually a pun in Chinese. The Chinese title is “再见繁花血景”. “繁花血景” means "Blossoms and Blood", “再见” can mean either "reappear(see sth again, if translate literally)" or "goodbye". How sad it is.

Have you ever watched a professional Starcraft, League of Legends, or DotA player and asked yourself what a drama written around a pro player would be like? Do you ever watch or read things like Sword Art Online or Log Horizon, and feel disappointed that they needed to make something like video games life or death to be engaging? Well then TKA is the story for you. It features a diverse cast of characters all with their own unique, and well defined quirks to each and every one of them. Even beyond the characters the setting itself which is the real world, has an interesting background. The game and its background is very amusing, and as someone who spent perhaps a bit too much time playing RPGs growing up has a familiar feeling whenever I read it. From the developer's actions, the players whom play the game, and the way they shaped this game's lifespan that you see the 10 year point of are all beautifully crafted. The best part about this novel is the fact that the author is very good at showing, and not telling with his story. There's no super long monologues about just what someone is feeling, or their deeper personality, but instead you see the character act and get a feel for itself. The only issue is that the early chapters have quite a bit of typos, and while it gets much better as the story goes on they still appear.

First time readers of this book, be warned! Prepare yourself for a moving journey to victory! I joined the TKA journey when about 1K chapters were translated and found myself happily immersed in the unknown gaming world. I raced through chapter by chapter until I caught up and then patiently waited for the next update. I laugh, I cried, I yelled, I coughed blood together with the colorful characters that Butterfly Blue created. I cheered each and every one of them as they grew and struggled to achieve their dreams, whether friend or foe. More than a story of redemption, TKA is about realizing your full potential and striving towards Glory! It makes sense to me that it is now being translated into several languages and in several media. Truly inspiring! ❤️❤️❤️

I have been involving in gaming for about 12 years. I have play countless games and thrive in it. SO, the novel like this attract me the most. I have read many gaming novels, in most of them the MC simply gets overpowered stats. It in interesting in its own ways, however The King's Avatar provides much more quality, I personally think that you would be missing such a great piece if u didn't read this. In this novel the MC has 10 years of experience of the game and starts again from scratch in the new server. It is explained how the MC outclasses the average player and it shows the way of thinking that professional players have. The translation quality is very good, it doesnt contain extraordinary adjectives and it's structured very well. The update stability is good aswell, they release the 12 chapters/week as mentioned. The character design is very nice, every character has his own personality, and the diverse personalities represent different kinds of players. As an example the MC who is known as the best player only cares about the competitive aspect of Glory, while other pro players care about the media. There are also pro players that had to retire because of injuries (Sun Zeping) or age (Wei Chen). But it is not only about pro players. There are aswell characters like Chen Guo who are passionate Glory fans. Another one is the initial noobish player Steamed Bun who relies on his instincts while playing. On the contrary there are players like Concealed Light who understand the theory but are unable to implement it on their playstyle due to lack of mechanical skills. The world building is the best part of the novel. Initially the novel is about the game glory with its cities, quests, dungeons, wild bosses and so on, while later on the focus is more on the pro league. I really like that the author describes everything so detailed, especially the relationships between clubs, club guilds and pro players, but also the in-game components like dungeoning, PKing, large scale fights. I recommend this novel to all gamers who have some interest in the way of thinking of a pro player or professional e-sports in general.

The story is about the personal and gaming life of the esports players or the pro gamers. The portrayal of the story (in my opinion) is very realistic, especially how characters are being treated by the fans, either being respected or hated . It has its own charm that makes me want to read it more. The MC is not that SUPER OP MC like in other novel, at first his average sometimes admirable, but in the later chapters.... I can only say one word....Not OP.... but SHAMELESS...yes SHAMELESS...HE IS THE SHAMELESS BATTLE GOD.

The reason I came to this site to the first place would buy a physical copy if it ever got a release (=_=) with no second thoughts. Story wise while the overpowered MC isn't anything new the cast of the characters and game descriptions are amazing. It's very rarely that you see this many likable characters with their with their own traits and personalities.

The continuously scrolling mode on this site so much better than having to go through each chapter individually like on Gravity. Think I'll start reading it here from now on. This was my favourite novel on the old site with imo the best Chinese translator in the entire scene. It's nice to see the awesome translation having been officially approved by the author. ^^

Great story and characters. Absolutely HATE how the translator has become a complete money grab. $2 for 4 chapters is an outrage. I can see how the translators need patreon to support themselves and the ads to unlock few chapters does make sense- but this premium bull**** and reducing the normal releases per day? I'm waiting for the people to catch up to the latest releases and realize how frustrating it has become to follow this novel.

This has to be one of the best novels I have ever read. Its very engaging as it has alot of different sub plots. The slice of life aspect of the real life characters as well as the ingame rivalries and struggles. And in the later chapters more about the professional esports league. Multifaceted and it's grand.

This novel is different from other game related novels. In those novels the MC play a VR game and while there is stuff happening outside the game it's not interesting and you just want to go back to the game. Amazing things happen and does not feel real. But this novel is so real. First the game is played on a computer, at level max all characters are nearly equal and a player skill is important. The world outside the game is also very interesting. We come in contact with professional gamers, their teams and the competition between them. The equilibrium between game and reality is perfect. Neither can exist without the other. The MC has his own qualities and flaws, it's easy to identify yourself to him. His goal is ******, go back to being a pro and win the championship. His actions reflect that goal all story long. If you like gaming, just try it and see for yourself.

I saw the anime first before deciding to read the manga and the novel since the anime is really a cliff-hanger. I did not expect anything at first about the story. I thought this would be something like a typical MMORPG where the MC would be transported into the game and would be left locked out for the rest of his life. But I was wrong. Who would have thought that this would be about eSports and truly about 'gaming'. I never expected that those kind of elements in a novel would be epic. And the MC is not totally OP. Actually you can see those kind of skills in reality and in eSports scene (i.e. popular streamers that you can watch on Twitch, or Faker of League, or Miracle of DotA).

I arrived here because of watching the anime, and decided that I had to discover more on "The Kings Avatar". I was not disappointed, the development of the world is most impressive. The main character is "godly" in his skills, but at the same time it's believable. Quite addicting to read.I recommend also seeking out the anime, as it will help the reader to visualize much of the world building exposition, as well as visualizing the main characters. (Just this story made it worthwhile signing up for me.) Happy reading. :-)

This novel is just really boring. Every problem the MC has is just miraculously solved and goes away, but there's always a another problem. Its never a new problem or conflict it's just the same rehashed stuff. I will hand it to the author a lot of the characters are really well developed and neat, but the story is just so stale. Even the world that the story takes place in, for how well developed and laid out it is, is sooooo boring. I've read the novel past chapter 1000, I wish I could get back my spirit stones and use them on a different novel. This story definitely does not deserve to be number 1.

Wow... That was a trully damn fine read. I followed and read hundreds if not thousand of novel but TKA really has it's spots in my top three. Especially when i just get close the 1000th chapter i really lost the sense of time next thing i knew was spending my stones (which i never used before) like a madman to read next chapters. Story is a good one, yea it's all about gaming and maybe has it's flaw at few points but it's neglectable and story telling was amazing. Author certanly knows how to stir reader's feelings and never abuse it with over-powered dram or similar things. Thus you can feel the story and create an empathy between characters and yourself. Character designs are superb! There's tons of characters in teams, managements, fans, guilds or real life but every single one created with care and has it's place in story. They're growing, feeling and changing with you and when you read their side-stories and feelings you may realize it's really rich and kinda unreal to know that all of this created by a single author. For world background i kinda feel it was just shallow. City A, City H or so called cities have few places to mentioned and while it's excusable it kinda feels bad. Alas at least in-game places are detailed and imaginable.

This novel is amazing, all the characters have great character development. The main character: Ye Xiu is OP in a manner that doesn't make him so OP and invincible, like I'm not sure if you understand what i'm saying but he's not like other character's where the character is beyond OP. The world is built perfectly, you understand the game mechanic, even i, someone who doesn't play is able to understand how things work. And the comedy; its so funny, Ye Xiu is so shameless, LOL. If you haven't read it you really should!!!!!
