One of the only novels I've read to keep me this engaged and interested, despite not being able to blaze through the story from start to finish in one sitting. The translation is also superb.

Just can't help but leave a review. I've been reading this for almost about 4 Weeks since last month from the beginning, but surprisingly I never got tired reading it. There would be up, downs throughout the story and as I read. It rarely feature stagnant/stable/unmoving storyline development. As i read, it also produces imaginary scenes to my brain as if I am watching Anime or Manga. Eventhough some chapters are mostly filled with details or descriptions those were beautifully used to feed the readers imagination . Character build up and foundations are also well made. Even those extra character encounters from the beginning are remarkable. For example Sleeping Moon/ Little Moon Moon, you know him eventhough he less appeared than SevenFields. This novel really lived up to my expectations. Not so much Wuxia, Not so much fantasy, Not so much Serious, Not so much Drama, Not so much OP, but SHAMELESS!!! Yeah, Ye Xiu is the Shameless God no one can beat him if he got serious with it. 😂 Gotta chech Heavens Library while waiting for updates.

This novel is adictive! After watching the anime, I discovered it was based on a novel. My level in english is weak, but I still understand everything. Translators make a really great work.

NICE work the details is very good, the way it was written can be easily imagined and not boring to read power!. So please continue doing such works and when is the next series will be made

Honestly this story is the best I’ve read on this website and it just keeps getting better and better as the characters develop. It’s strange that Ye Xiu himself doesn’t really grow in the story but it’s more like the nuances of his character are developed more in the story. Everyone else experience some well described and paced out growth ! Amazing story !!

If i can rate it, 20/5! Definitely better than SAO! This kind of novel is what really put the hype in reading. Every chapter gets you pump and you just want more and more chapters. And honestly, 1000+chapter already is amazing.

Amazing work. Reading this novel has been one of my best daily activities for the past months. The characters are charismatic and the pace of the history is really good.

If you made it here from Gravity Tales don't be too discouraged. The site is different, earning stones is confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad. Their methods do foster a sense of community, it's just a bit different than North Americans are used to. On a side note, it's fun watching TKA move up in the rankings. Great story that deserves all it's accolades!

I have been reading this for more than a year and i'm still hyped every time new chapter comes up. I love MC since he so OP but at the same time so chill. This story is simply the best, form characters, conversations, funny and intense moments, great story development.

Ok on to the actual review: First got into this series through the donghua which I came across on YouTube and no regrets because this series is amazing. I especially appreciate the humor in this: Wei Chen and Ye Xiu arguing never fail to give me a good laugh haha. Other than that, I really enjoy the plot and all the characters' unique personalities and developments.

Everything is awesome except for the translation frequency. Make it twice as fast please! The translator's doing the best but it would be much better if he will focus on this novel only.

This is a very realistic "conquer the world through games" story. No time travel or futuristic 'real money' economies - just a pro player forced into retirement trying to make a comeback! All he wants to do is make a living. The humans in this story act rationally, emotionally and realistically. Some are jerks, some are idiots and some are really nice people. No over-the-top cartoon villains required. At least... not unless they are playing a role in the game and having fun being bad. ^_^ And even then, the interactions read exactly like real internet comments. The game play in story steals elements of real games like Starcraft, Wow, and Street Fighter. While there are elements of Chinese MMO's that will be REALLY weird to English gamers (aka - guilds monopolizing bosses/item drops) all of it plays realistically. Also - no math mistakes! Any numbers and stats given in previous chapters add up properly! *coughSAOcough*

I can't remember many other work that has made me feel all from giddy happiness to the bittersweet. I still remember sitting in the garden during summer obsesively reading chapter after chapter. It became rather exhausting and I had to take a break but I never stopped loving this novel.
