Chapter 1: The World In Chaos.

Years ago, an unknown entity entered the Earth's atmosphere and wiped out half of humanity, but those who were far away and even sheltered were able to survive, but only to be met with another incoming doom.
Weird and strange creatures with alien like features, once landed on earth were starting to prey on every living creature amongst them. No one that was seen was spared, every single living thing that was in these aliens sight was preyed.
Millions were dead, feasted upon, but thousands were infested with some sort of disease that these aliens are carrying. After the foreign creatures of space have left Earth, the people of earth start to get sick, vomit, and die, but those who manage to maintain life, were given a power, a blessing, and a curse…
Those remaining were given a new life, have unlimited choices, and endless imaginations.
They were able to shapeshift to strong creatures above human levels. They were able to choose what they look like, and they are capable of destroying everything in their path.
Soon people who are not infected with the virus started to target those who are.
Unfortunately those who are infected were shot down, and since they are all new to this new born power, there's nothing left to do rather than accept death. But some managed to escape and decide to live a new life laying low, but some were being hunted, and killed on the spot and were taken for research in hopes of finding a cure to this virus.

"They're coming! Everyone! Evacuate the village immediately! This is not a drill! This is not a drill!!!"
A silhouette screamed out before getting shot by a heavy armored soldier who is accompanied by people in hazmat suits and they're all armed with rifles.
The village of the infected people immediately ran as fast as they could, but those who were unlucky and were slow were shot down, some even tazed to unconsciousness.

"Hurry darling! Before they catch up to us!"
A couple with a newborn daughter were running from the dangerous group.
They were the only ones that managed to get this far, but more and more are starting to follow them. The mother was experienced in fighting with her power and managed to kill off some of the soldiers, but it costed her arm as she is now being held by the father who is also holding their daughter.
"I can't keep running! Huff, they are too fast for us! They are riding their motorcycles and cars, but we're only running on mere feet!"
A jeepney came out of the bush as the people inside it opened it's windows and aimed their weapons at the couple.
The mother immediately turned her remaining arm to a giant and muscular arm as she slapped it out of their way, but she immediately turned her arm back once she started to bleed more from the open wound of her cut arm. She holds it, but it feels like there's no point to it now.
The father once again picks up her wife as he starts to carry her too since it looks like she can no longer move her legs.
"God damn it! Why does this have to happen?!"
"They see us as monsters d-darling… They think we're a danger to them, and they only seek for their safety and survival… They think we are no longer one of them…"
The couple continued to run until they reached a dead end.
They looked at the high mountain and it looks like it is easy to climb or even punch out of the way, but with a missing arm and a tired husband, they can no longer do anything and they turned their heads behind them only to be with a lot of people with rifles inside suits and they prepare themselves and aim at the couple.

A silhouette comes out of a limo car and it appears to be a young man and he is wearing a black suit with a red tie as he's wearing a gas mask. He walks up to the scene and stops.

"I'm surprised, both lovers managed to escape with the power of love. But it comes with a price. It looks like both of you are no longer able to go further let alone withstand my soldiers' bullets." The man says as he digs into his pocket and pulls out a piece of paper.
"Those who were behind we're so weak and fragile, but for the both of you, both of you are something different. Those who fell are probably no match for a couple like you two. I offer both of you life, freedom, and a future, but you must help us to help us research you both. We'll let you live, further at least, in exchange to cooperate with our business."
He then pulls out a pen and shows it both at the couples.
"This is the only way both of you can live, your child will also be spared, IF you are willing to help humanity further, after all. You're still humans, correct?"

"...no… NO! We refuse your absurd deal!
If anything, all of you should be the one who should beg for mercy! Also, stop lying to us, lies are no longer effective to us.
You see us as humans? All of you, especially you see us as statistics! Money bags! Experiments! You're all inhuman! Screw you all!!"
The mother after shouting all of that is about to go in rage again but her other arm got shot off leading to her downfall. The father immediately went to shock and kneels down to her as she shakes her wife.
"H-hey! Are you alright? D-Don't worry! I'll-
"No… There's no point in that anymore…"

"If you see something in my eyes, and if it tells you that we deserve to strive then… save yourself, and our child, before it's too late…"
…
"I-I…"
The man in the suit yawns as he taps the paper with the pen he's holding.
He's also tapping his foot indicating his impatience.
"You there, you're the husband, right? Time for you to decide whether you join us, or join your wife and kid."
"Please… run way, d-darling…"
The husband looks at the people, especially at the man and looks at her own wife dying, but he has already made his decision as he rips his shirt and his chest is starting to form a bubble like a trampoline and then puts his own daughter inside it.
"What is that man doing??"
"Who knows??"
"Is he eating his own child??"
…
"W-wait darling, w-why are you-"
The husband then stands up and points his chest up at the sky before the bubbles launch up high in the sky with the baby inside it.
The men tried to shoot the bubble down only to be met with their bullets back at them.
The husband looks at her wife and holds her dearly to him.

"Why…? Why must you abandon our child like that…?"
"I'm sorry… but losing you means I will lose myself as well. I don't want our child to die so early. It's more reasonable to send her far away rather than let her stay with us and be taken by those cruel people… I will not leave you my love, even at death, I won't abandon you.
Me and you may die here, but we can only hope our child brings back our kind."
He was talking to a dead woman now, tears started to roll down on the husband's face as he hugged her tight, sniffling to himself.
"I-I'll be there in a second… I love you…"

The husband gently puts her lifeless wife on the ground, closing her eyes with his own hands as he stands up and walks to the men who were alive and started to point their gun just in case he tries anything.
"Well well well, now that you've done something stupid, I don't think we can do the contract now, it looks like we have to kill you."
*Tsk.
"Who said I was going for your shitty contract?" The husband's nails start to turn into sharp blades along with his teeth.
"If you think I'll die without taking a single life then you're all a bunch of idiots. If there's anything, you should all run while I'm still in control of m-myself- NGH!…"

"Fire!"
The people who have their rifles started to fire at the husband only to be blocked by the growing and melting skin of his.
The husband's eyes were starting to roll at the back of his head before his pupils disappeared and went back with red fiery eyes.
"Make papa proud."
The husband's voice was deep and almost sounded like a monster inside. As soon as one soldier started firing that's when the husband roared so loud that the surrounding trees and cars flipped over and the husband was now rushing towards the soldiers with no interest in showing mercy.
>SLASH!

A few minutes later, the husband was taken down by a lot of rockets and his head came off his body. The people around were starting to investigate the large headless body and the head itself.
Meanwhile the young man who managed to survive the husband's killing spree is on the phone with someone, someone very important.
"Yes sir, it looks like that's all of them here. The supposedly strongest people here were taken down by rifles. But we had trouble with two and had to take them down with all that we got. It's too bad we couldn't capture them, but we had no choice."
>...
"You want us to bring the bodies back? Will it be safe to do so?"
…
"I understand. We'll drop off in a minute and then continue the extermination of these filthy creatures."
…
"Thank you sir. You're welcome."
>Beep.

"That crazy monster just launched its offspring somewhere, it would be a danger if it were to be found by someone. We need to find it as soon as possible or else we will all be infected with this mysterious alien virus…"
The young man turns his head to the headless corpse of the giant as he walks up to it.
He then looks at the dead head as he listens to the conversations of the hazmat suits guys and it seems like this husband was the most dangerous out of all of them. Luckily it died.
"We could've been partners mister alien, but it looks like humanity still dominates Mother Earth."

Somewhere in Japan…

A woman was walking by searching for her own child. It's been hours since she has seen her daughter. It's starting to worry her, but then out of nowhere she sees something on the road.
She decides to run up to it and look at it for herself and she was surprised to see a crying newborn child who seems to be injured.
"Oh no… What is a poor baby like you doing out here in the middle of the cold night? Did your parents abandon you? You poor thing…"
The woman picks up the child and looks at her.
She is crying, but she doesn't seem to have any serious injuries and by the loud crying she seems to be energetic, which the woman sighs in relief that the baby is fine.
"I should take you home quickly, who knows how long you've been here!"
The woman looks around before running back to her home in Tokyo.
She is a business woman, but she did not expect to see a child that looks to be from another place.
After 5 years of civil war between humanity and the infected, the world decides to let them stay as some of the people who are healthy were given vaccines to prevent the virus from spreading, but those who are alive and possess abnormal powers were allowed to live and keep what they have, but only to be strictly monitored to make sure none of them bats an eye.
Some of them even left their kind to join and help humanity to advance in exchange for a normal life. Years later and revolutions were starting but only to be pushed back into their caves thanks to those who decide to betray their people in exchange for individual freedom.
Earth was once again in peace, but now living with the remaining extraterrestrial elements inside of half the humans on Earth…
