"What is the enemy's status?" King Francis asked.

He folded his arms looking over the horizon of the battleground. He and his men were at the bottom of a mountain pass looking up at the French army just a few kilometers away.

A man with glowing red eyes sat beside him looking into some sort of visionary abyss. As he hummed some inaudible chant his eyes vented out glowing neon particles as he tapped into some all seeing power.

"They are standing resolutely, anticipating our action," The man said. "They are waiting for our move, just as planned."

"Good," King Francis said, nodding his head.

He reached into his pocket taking out a small flame that burned brightly in the palm of his hand.

"Ricardo…" He said under his breath. "It's all up to you now."

Meanwhile back at the mountain pass, the assassin with the violet ribbon approached Godefroi and his twin brother.

"My King," She said, taking a bow.
