"W-what a coincidence..." Jennifer mumbled under her breath when she got the answer from Javier

"After all, she's your daughter, Jennifer," Javier said. "She got this from you. In fact, the majority of her traits are from you. Just a bit... the difference is because she lived with me." 

Jennifer, who was only trying to avoid looking at Javier, finally looked at him. 

She was shocked, trying to digest this but didn't try to act bewildered by him. 

"Isn't it obvious? She's my daughter, I-I have given birth to her.'' hastily Jennifer moved the menu but Javier, being not new to her awkwardness, didn't try to intrude in the conversation anymore. 

With the passage of time, the conversation started brewing in the air. As the young kids interacted with each other, they realized that their interests lay in the same places.
