Chapter 45: Unbreakable Bond

Darien was sitting beside Woermann's grave, in his hand was a small ring made out of diamond and it had an image of a lion fighting a Tiger, it had a whole story, funny it was because of Darien smiling, he quickly heard footsteps of a horse coming his way, and he knew that he his non-other then Therold as he doesn't even bother to look back, 'What about the Ring?.' Therold asked as he came closer and as the name on the grave was visible he again said, 'Oh he is Woermann, Nas told me about him, Brave and a Noble soul, may he rest in peace.' he again asked Darien, 'What does that ring supposed to mean?.' then Darien told him the tale of the Ring, 'Woermann gave it to me because we used to have duels to decide who is the strongest, it was balanced, sometimes I win sometimes him, but in the last duel, He defeated me, so I gifted him a Sword which is now placed upon his grave and he gave me this ring, The Tiger represents Woermann stronger then Lion but he is not the King and The Lion represent me, not strong as anyone but still is a King.' Therold was quite impressed by what Woermann thought before making the ring.

'I miss him, there is not a day that I don't live without regretting.' Darien said with a sad tone, Therold could feel the pain in the sentence delivered by Darien, he asked Darien with a polite tune, 'What Regret are you talking about, Darien?' Darien then replied to Therold question, 'The day we got ambushed, I was having a bad feeling just before the ambush, but I said to myself that what I was thinking was nothing but bullshit, so I focused on my duties, I wanted to go and stay with him but I was stupid, I should have went to him and stayed with him, I should have been there, to be shot by the arrow., it should have been me not hi....' Darien began to cry, Therold came close to Darien and hugged him, Therold's heartbeat gave hope to Darien to continue to live happily, and have hope, that in this accursed world, bad things happen but bad times always pass away and happy days will arrive soon, 'Stop regretting about what happened in the past, think about what will happen in the future.' Darien rubbed his tear away and replied, 'You are right.' he took a deep breath and said, 'I'm happy to have a chat with you, I feel happy now.' Therold proudly replied, 'That's my special trait, everyone around me feels happy,' but Darien replied, 'No, Therold your attitude has changed a lot.' this made Therold confused as he asked Darien politely, 'What do you mean, Darien?.' Darien then began to explain Therold his toxic trait, 'You should be humble with others, I know that you're loss can make anyone go insane but don't be that edgy guy, enjoy life at its very short!."

Therold then really began to understand, he realized how much he has changed, he was once that type of guy who could be anyone best friend, that was his speacilty, but now he is self concerned, he realized how selfish he was now, he wanted only for him to be safe and to be more powerful.

'You are absolutely right, Brother!.' Therold said to Darien,he knew that Therold has finally realized his mistake, 'You know what? I was a edgy guy as well." Darien told Therold to which he asked, 'What do you mean?.' Darien then took a deep breath and pointed at Woermann's grave and said, 'He changed me a lot, I was angry at little thing, because I lost everything I only wanted me and him to be safe, even if the elder said something bad to him I would have began to fight him, he told me to be kinded hearted, when Nas and his squad was introduced to us, I didn't even bother to say hi or even reply, that time the first time, Woermann was angry at me, he told me "Why can't you change, for fuck sake be a soul not Ash.!" and that sentence left quiet a big mark on my heart and just after he was martyred, I changed my self, now I mix with other and be more frank, not be selfish or self-cornerd!.' Therold then replied to him, 'So his presence improved you but his absence completely changed you!." to which Darien nodded, 'Ahh, I only wished to be good before he was martyred.' Darien said as he was looking up at the sky because the sky was about to be filled by the black stormy clouds, 'So you too have a regret?.' Asked Therold, as they stood up and Darien placed some red crimson aroma rose on his grave and sat on his horse and said before they gallaoped off, 'Yes, I wish I never had that regret!.
