While Iron Man II had officially premiered on 279 screens in South Korea and about 1000 more in Asia alone. The Man from Nowhere was being screen in about 100 screens locally and 400 extra internationally, meaning that Iron Man II had an advantage of nearly 700 screens.

Three child-orientated movies were released at the same, and this made the media feel that Dylan's chances to win the bet were thin.

Thankfully the Hype around the film being a Palm D'Or nominee and winning the Best Actor Award made the viewing extra suspenseful for those watching on the outside.
