Weird surroundings

After traveling through the portal for a while, Mew could feel a slight fluctuation near the opening. Seeing a very faint light, Mew was glad to see his destination coming closer. Unlike the other times he opened and traveled through his portals, this time it took a while to pass through it. After all, his portals were just randomized and could end up in any place it tried to connect with.

It seems like this time the destination had been a bit farther away than normal. Still, Mew was happy to see that he was getting to the light on the other side.

Leaving the portal, the first thing Mew did was look at his surroundings and see what was interesting and new. What Mew saw was interesting enough, but the whole thing was just weird.

He was currently above a huge castle that reached high up towards the sky. Far below, Mew spotted a castle town.

Even when he looked closely, Mew couldn't see if there were people walking the streets. What he did see though were weird wisps of blueish green light. They had the faint outlining of humans, though they resembled elves a lot more than humans. When he listened to their whispers, Mew could hear them speak about monsters flying in the sky and walking through the castle.

When Mew looked around in the sky, he could indeed see the monsters the human, elf? spoke of. The had bat like wings and sharp teeth. The bird like creatures were huge, even bigger than these soldiers. Why did he say soldiers? Well, they wore armor with a crest crafted on the chest and helmet parts.

While moving around, Mew would blast apart any monster that attacked him, leaving bits of limbs, flesh and organs fall to the ground. Though when it fell, it soon dispersed into motes of the weird black flakes that were moving about in the air.

Having seen enough of this dreary scene, Mew was about to leave when he suddenly saw a wolf jump out of the window unto the roof top. It was black with grey stripes along his sides and jaw. On its forehead was a strange pattern. With every step it took, there was a soft almost dismissal sound of chain rattling. On one of its front paws was a shackle with a small chain dangling from it.

Though it was a wolf, it looked very intelligent. Its blue eyes looked almost human. Coming closer to this strange wolf, Mew noticed another humanoid figure floating beside the wolf. Staring at the girl with strange black white tattoos and orange hair, Mew reached out in intrigue at the strange mask the girl was wearing. Knowing better, Mew refrained from touching as he instead began to pat the wolf all around its body. To say it was soft would be an overstatement. The fur was bristly, but strangely addicting to touch. Lying down on its back, Mew was stared at by both the girl and the wolf.

"Would you look at that. Seems like you are definitely a mount. Isn't that good for you, shishishi~" The girl said as the wolf barked in annoyance.

"Hush! Shouldn't you be thinking about something else?" The girl smirked as she took the shape of a blonde short haired girl.

The wolf calmed down immediately.

"Now that you've got your priorities straight, lets get a move on shall we."

With a flick of the girls fingers, the wolf and herself disappeared into black flakes, leaving Mew behind. Pouting in dissatisfaction, Mew moved on outside of this dreary place, going towards the only place he could see that had any sunlight. For as far as he could see, it was covered in trees, but Mew had no problem with that.

Guess which world we're in now. Want a hint?

Hint 1.

It's from a game.

Still don't know?

Hint 2.

The main weapon used is called the Master sword.

Still don't know? Guess I should just say it.

It's The legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess.

This arc won't be as long as the previous one.

I hope you will enjoy reading it though. Just know it is only the game version and not the manga and novel version.
