Mew activates the present

Arriving a at the Tomb of Nazarick, Mew landing on Ains shoulder, around him the floor guardians he had previously seen in the arena.

[The throne room huh... What are you standing here for?]

Mew asked Ains, Aldos having already returned to the Garden to see if everything was doing fine there. The latter had little to worry about when Mew was with acquaintances. Mew was strong after all.

"We are about to meet the one that rules over the mice that entered our home."

Ains replied, his eyes not leaving the closed doors of the throne room, waiting for something Mew was unaware of.

[Since when do mice have leaders? Don't they only have moms and dads to listen to?]

"Hahaha, I suppose so. Indeed, these mice are a bit smarter. It really is daring of them to enter my home. The home of my friends. Look, here they come."

Not having noticed when the maids arrived, Mew spotted a familiar figure walking in the group.

[Ah, it's the Jirc-something emperor! Hey! Hey! Over here!]

Mew waved at the nervous emperor, beaming a big smile at the poor man.

"He is still but an insect, far beneath the feet of our great one."

Albeddo chimed in, smiling a little at the sight of these lowly beings slowly coming their way.

Stopping just in front of the throne, the maids left the emperor and his emmissaries behind and stopped just besides Sebas.

From just besides Ains, Mew could hear a few gritting teeth.

Looking at said person, Albeddo, Mew snickered softly.

Another quickly made the cause clear.

"It is blasphemous for an inferior species like humans to not bow in the presence of our supreme one."

Glancing down at the humans, Demiurge had taken on his less human form as he spoke to them.

{Bow}

With a single word, most of the humans bowed, the exception being the emperor who remained standing with a lot of effort.

"It is alright Demiurge."

"Yes, Ains-sama."

{You may rise}

A few gasps were heard as they human stood up again.

What followed was something Mew wasn't really interested in, as the words spoken went in one ear and left the other. He heard the words, but they just didn't register.

The only time he perked up a bit was when Ains created as Death knight, but that was all.

[It's boring.]

Mew muttered, heard only by Ains.

[So So Boring.]

A twitching sound in Ains' bones showed he was listening to the useless chatter in his head.

[I want to do something]

Ains continued to ignore Mew, as he sent Demiurge to oversee the humans he had just made an alliance with.

[I know! Let's activate it!]

Ains continued to igno- wait, Activate?

[One, two, thr-]

Wait wait wait! Activate what?

Ains glanced a bit at Mew, a bit helpless at the behavior the latter was showing, not even able to stop whatever Mew was planning on doing.

Smiling brightly, Mew stared intensely at the emmisarries.

[Three!~]

There was no bright flash, no smoke, no screams.

Nothing to truly indicate something had been activated, but standing in front of him were the human emissaries. Or maybe the use 'former' human was more appropriate.

Cause right in front of him were not humans.

The former humans had unmistakably grown some ears and tails.

"Mew. I will speak with you later."

For the first time, an emotion was heard in Ains voice.

Clear exhasperation, as well as exhaustion and helplessness.
