Meeting old friends Pt. 8

Leaving the portal, Mew arrived at a place he knew very well. Though its appearance had changed a lot since the last time he had been here.

The old church he had visited once was now in shambles, only a few wall remined standing to indicate that it was once there.

Looking over the rubble, Mew was relieved to find no trace of anyone of the inhabitants. They must have avoided the calamity.

From the look of things, this had only recently happened, so Mew was set out to investigate.

[Where oh where can I find the little rabbit?]

Mew mumbled, as he spread his senses and searched for the familiar signs of Hestia and her familia.

[Found them~]

Mew cheered, as he teleported towards their destination.

Once there, he had apparently interrupted a serious conversation, as he had arrived at the point in time where Lilli got her blessing from Hestia.

[Oh, it looks nice on you. Congrats!]

Mew cheered, a little surprised that he only got a slightly startled look before they resumed their tasks.

Confused at it all, Mew looked at Hestia for an explanation.

"You really came at the wrong time, Mew. We are at the verge of a war with the Apollo familia."

[Oh, so something fun is happening?]

"It is anything but fun. My familia is too small to stand a decent chance. As such, we are recruiting, but it isn't going that well."

Hestia muttered, taking her hands of Lilli's back. The blessing was done being inscribed as Lili took a deep breath. The process had been anything but easy, as it was painfull to have her previous blessing removed.

[Then want to borrow some of my Family? I'm sure they would be happy to help.]

Mew said, as he leaned his head on his little paws.

"If you could, that would help a lot."

[Umu. I will see who wants to help. I'm sure Aldos wouldn't mind helping out as well.]

Mew happily replied, dissapearing from his spot, only to return with Aldos, a snowleopard beast woman and a werewolf beastman.

While Aldos happily smiled at the company, Mew wore a downtrodden face, glancing at Aldos with sad eyes.

Not explaining why, Mew introduced them to Hestia and her familia.

[I introduce my familia members. The high elf next to me, Aldos ljos Alf, level four. The Snow Leopard beast woman, Titania, level two. The werewolf beastman, Garm, level three. They will temporarily join your familia. If they want to stay, they are happy to.]

Mew added, looking at the latter two, who seemed excited to be able to let loose.

"Thank you very much for the help."

Hestia exclaimed, surprised by the levels they had. They would surely be of help in the war. Glancing at Aldos, Hestia seemed to be in deep thought, not speaking a word that was going on inside of her head.

"Then it seems we have a bigger chance to win."

Hestia clenched her hands, looking lovingly at her familia.

[I await the exciting battle!]

Mew exclaimed, as he and Hestia left soon after to join the gathering of the gods, as the war was about to start.
