Lullaby

"Do any of you hear about the Dark Guild Eissenwald?"

The three + Happy, looked at Erza to continue.

"They are looking for a certain magic called Lullaby to cause trouble."

At the words Lullaby, Lucy and Gray showed a knowing look. They had definitely heard about this before.

Mew just wondered what this Lullaby magic was. Maybe a magic to put people to sleep. Just like counting Mareep would let you fall asleep easier. Then this Lullaby would surely not be a bad thing.

"We met those Eisenwald guys before. They also mentioned Lullaby."

Lucy exclaimed, though she had a distinct feeling she had heard about Lullaby before.

"I see, so you have met Eisenwald members before."

"Yeah, they definitely knew about Lullaby. Before we could ask more about it, they were dealt with by a shadowy figure."

Gray replied.

"They are most likely deserters who didn't want to follow the plan and escaped. The shadow you saw must have been a real Eisenwald guild member. There was a chance the plan might have been leaked by them, so they were to be taken care of."

Erza surmised, as she explained her reasoning.

"What could than plan possibly be?"

Lucy commented, shocked with how far those Eisenwald members would go.

"Let me explain everything. On my last mission, I stopped at a bar in Onibas city. It is a place where mages gather. There I overheard a conversation between Eisenwald guild members, who spoke about Lullaby and the seal that was placed on it. They had difficulties with removing it, is what I could gather from the conversation. Then a man called Kage, the person most likely to have been that shadow you encountered, spoke up that he would deal with it alone and that the others should return. They were to say to a man called Erigor, that he would return in three days with Lullaby."

Erza said.

"Lullaby, as that song that puts children to sleep?"

A very smart Lucy said.

Mew nodded along, as he too surmissed it was a lullaby, if only with the way it was called.

"Indeed. It must be a very powerful magic if it was sealed. Not only that, but at the time I didn't realise they were Eisenwald guild members, nor did the name Erigor ring a bell at that time. Erigor is the ace of the Eisenwald guild. A member who only accepts assassination jobs and is called the 'God of Death'. "

Lucy gasped.

[Oh, an assassin. How nostalgic. They had those in my place too, as well in the places I have visited. Funny bunch they all were.]

Mew reminiscenced.

Lucy however was more concerned by the fact that there were guilds that took on assassinations.

"For obvious reasons, assassinations were banned by the Council, which is the reason Eisenwald is a dark guild, as they still accept those jobs."

Erza explained again, but she also cast a curious gaze towards Mew, who didn't seem to be concerned by the subject of assassinations. She would ask about it later, when the Eisenwald guild/Lullaby had been dealt with.

"If only I had known back then, I would have punished them immediately till they revealed their plan!"

Erza said in a bout of irritation.

[Maa, nothing to do about it! Let's kick some ass when we find some. Then they can tell us more about it.]

Mew helpfully added, not at all bothered by the dark mood, which was mostly originated from Erza and Lucy, both of completely different reasons.

Lucy seemed scared, while Erza was pissed.

"So, as the Eisenwald guild intends to do something with Lullaby, you want our help to stop them."

Gray added, looking at the scenery outside.

"Indeed. I am not confident enough to take on an entire guild by myself. That is why I asked for your help. We're headed straight into Eisenwald!"

Mew nodded sagely.

[It was a wise desicion to have asked this one for help. This one will surely defeat them!]

Mew responded, stroking a none existent beard. He just loved to role-play.

"Sounds interesting."

Gray said with a grin on his face.

What a battle junky, were Mew's thoughts, as if he wasn't the pot calling the kettle black.

"I'm scared."

A pitiful Lucy muttered, as she began to sweat a lot more.

"Lucy, juices."

Happy energetically yelled.

"It's sweat!"

"I am grateful."

Erza muttered, as the train slowly passed by a station.

In the meantime, the mages shared what kind of magic they used.

Gray used Ice, while Happy said Erza's magic was making opponents squirt out blood.

Laughing at the way Happy said it, Mew giggled till his stomach began to hurt. It would be a great magic to have.

As the train stopped in Onibas, they all departed. Well almost all, as Natsu was lying face down on the couch and Mew was waiting for him to wake up. At least he would be able to teleport him out if he was late. This had happened before after all.

As he waited, the train departed again, leaving Natsu and Mew behind in the compartment, as the others had already left.
