A cheated game

Mew followed the siblings inside and became overwhelmed by the sound coming from the crowd. The bar was filled with not only boisterous men, but also gaudily clad women and pretty ladies. In the corner, Mew even spotted an elf. He hadn't expected to see an elf in this world, but he had to admit that there could be any kind of race in this world, considering there were sixteen different races in this world.

Mew could see the siblings bargaining with a staff of the hotel. Mew gazed away, as he was more interested in a card game two girls were playing.

The red haired girl, called Stephanie Dola, was clearly panicking. She kept looking at her cards, as if hoping they would somehow change to something better. The girl opposite from her, wearing a veil, was more confident. She had most likely better cards than Stephanie. Yet Mew could feel something was a bit off about this. He couldn't immediately put his little paw on it, but he was certain of it. He could feel a strange energy coming from the veiled girl, though the energy clearly didn't belong to her.

Looking around, Mew quickly spotted the elf again, feeling a similar energy coming from her. 'Ah, they are cheating.' Mew thought, not really bothered by it. If the opponent didn't find out, then it was all fine.

Looking at the siblings, Mew knew they had discovered it as well.

'I really want to play with them!' Mew exclaimed silently, hoping they would agree if he let them play on his own game consoles. He had a system called a N*ntendo Sw*tch. There were a lot of fun games on it, as well as a couple of games with Pokemon as the game card picture. It was really funny how other worlds knew about pokemon and could make games and animations about it. There had to be an enlightened soul on those worlds, or a reincarnation/transmigration.

Anyhow, Mew contined watching as Stephanie put down her cards in defeat. Sora had even went as far as telling Stephanie her opponent was cheating, but Stephanie clearly didn't know how. She was a good as in tears when the veiled girl left, banging her head on the table at how stupid she had been.

As if receiving a jolt to the side, Stephanie got to her feet and ran inside the sleeping quarters of the hotel.

'What is that funny girl going to do now?'

Curious of the stubbornness of Stephanie, Mew followed behind her, still invisible as she stormed into a room. That room belonged to none other than the siblings Mew had been following. Sora and Shiro.

'Yay! Found them again.'

Mew thought. Still, he was curious as to what Stephanie would do, so he waited for something fun to happen again, which without any doubt would happen.
