A chance encounter

A pink creature and the blonde man were currently staring at each other, keeping firm eye contact.

The man, Jicniv Rune Farlord El-Nix, the emporer of this land looked at the creature that had 'borrowed' his crown.

He had naturally seen the IOU note the creature had left behind. He didn't know what to think of it when he read it.

It was so childishly written, don't even mention the content. The perpetrator was surely not some kind of cunning mastermind.

The proof was right in front of him, as the child like creature seemed to be having a staring contest with him, not even breaking eye contact for a second.

Jircniv had ordered his men not to enter, while his imperial cour wizard, Fluder Paradyne, and his general were staying silent under the watchful eye of their liege.

Jircniv looked calmly at the pink creature, his amethyst eyes staring deeply into the child like blue eyes of the creature in front of him.

The elf companion of the creature stood calmly on the side, clearly not intending to come between the two of them. What a calm individual the elf was, to not even be fazed by the sudden appearance of unknown people.

Jircniv was instantly intrigued by these two, though more in the elf than the creature.

Eventually, the creature broke eye contact as he looked at the elf.

[Aldos, I'm hungry.]

Jircniv could clearly hear the voice of the creature, sounding neither like a boy or girl.

"Of course, Mew-sama. If you are done playing, then we shall get you some food."

The elf, Aldos replied to the creature he referred to as Mew.

Mew glanced once more at Jircniv, as well as the note in his hands.

Recognising the note, Mew seemed to brighten up a bit as he looked at the crown in his hand and then back at Jircniv.

[Here. It's boring now.]

Mew said as he threw the crown towards Jircniv, who caught it easily. Jircniv stared at the back view of the two individuals who disappeared within in a instance.

"Hoho, tier seven greater teleportation magic! And executed so flawlessly without a word. Marvelous!"

Paradyne exclaimed, seemingly impressed by the show of magic.

"A skilled mage indeed. Though I am uncertain as to who the master is supposed to be between the two."

Jircniv replied, deep in thought from what he had seen.

"The elf is it not?"

The general replied.

"Surely not. The way of adress should be evident as to whom the master in that relationship should be."

Jircniv responded, having clearly heard the elf call Mew, Mew-sama.

"It seems there are more powerful yet indifferent individuals in our empire than we previously suspected."

Jircniv muttered, leaning back in his chair, still deep in thought about what this could mean to him in the future.
