It was Monday and instead of going to school, I was on my way to my father's office. "Kai," Lorenzo greeted as I walked into his office. He was sitting at the head of the rectangle table at the far end of the room. Alessio, he's second in command that I've met a couple of times was sitting across from him.

I had proved myself to Lorenzo more and more as time passed. I unbuttoned my suit jacket as I sat down next to my father. Making myself comfortable before saying what I needed to say.

"I want to be the one to meet the brokers, I'm ready," I informed, breaking the silence since I barged into the room. 

"Kai, I don't this—," 

"I think it's the best task to give him, nothing too dangerous" Alessio interrupts my father, leaning forward. 

I grinned, tapping my fingers on table one right after the other. "I am ready, I can do this." 

Lorenzo narrowed his eyes at me, cocking his head to the side.
