"We didn't have to leave so early."

Elena grumbles. Ignoring her, I yank on my tie my jaw unclenched. 

"It's cause of that whore, isn't it? You can't ever let her go, you think I don't know whatever bullshit you want her to do is just a way for you to keep her close? Why Lorenzo? After all the years, I gave you my heart, I gave you a daughter! Yet the minute I leave you to bring her back!" Sighing, I rub my head. The fucking plan failed, and the bastard approached her. 

He touched her. Asked to dinner. I'll empty my gun in him before letting that happen. 

"Are you even listening to me!" Elena screams,

"Shut the fuck up, Irina is sleeping." I snap, pointing upstairs. I was in the house I had built for both of them on the compound.
