"Please be alright…" said a familiar voice.

"Ngh… Hina? Where am I?" I looked beside me and saw Hina grasping my hand. I must have worried her.

"You're in the clinic. I'm so glad you're okay...hic, hic."

I feel bad about making her cry. I held her hand tightly and used the other to pat her head. I said that it was alright in a soft voice.

"Why would you go that far?"

"You said he wouldn't stop hitting on you, right? Based on how he looked at me earlier, I'm sure he will resort to violence sooner or later. So defeating him now will prevent that… probably."

"All for that? You don't even know me that much. We just met each other yesterday…"

"Is caring about you not enough?"

I said in a calm voice while smiling. She blushed to the point that it reached her ears. That's cute. After that, we talked a bit more.

After a few hours, it was already sunset. Since I couldn't really move that much yet, Hina stayed behind with me. Is this really alright?

"It's getting late."

"..."

"Hina?"

"..."

Ah, she fell asleep without me noticing. Heh, cute.

I moved in a bit closer to her to see her up close. I don't think I'll ever get tired at looking at this face.

Oops, it might be bad if she gets home late.

"Hina, wake up. Isn't it about time you get home?"

She stood up and started to walk towards the door.

She smiled then said farewell.

"Phew, it still hurts a bit, but I should be able to endure this."

[You should train more to level up. There's a skill called "Regeneration" that you'll get at level 5.]

That would be really helpful. Speaking of regeneration, I took a look at my health. It's full again.

Since I've been here for the whole day, I don't know how long it took for it to go back to being full.

I stood up and stretched a bit.

After that, I took the bag that was beside my bed and walked out of the clinic.

After I got home I stripped of my uniform and went to look for casual clothing.

Although I know that Nana can see me, I don't really care all that much anymore.

She did say she saw everything already, so I don't mind.

After I finished putting on my clothes I heard my stomach growl.

I was hungry since I woke up earlier, but I was having so much fun that I forgot about it.

I walked towards the fridge and picked up the leftover cake that I received the other day.

I placed the cake on the table near my PC.

I turned my PC on and started to browse around the internet.

While browsing around, I noticed that there was news about portals opening all around the world.

"So it happened all over huh?"

[He's becoming more active now…]

I didn't notice it, but at some point Nana took her physical form and started eating the cake. That's mine you know?

"Wait, what is this?"

The video I was watching showed a girl with white hair coming out of a portal.

When Nana noticed it, she almost dropped the plate.

[No way… Why is Yuna here…?]

I was puzzled about what she was saying so I looked at the video again.

I noticed that the girl had pitch black horns jutting out from the sides of her head.

"A demon?"

[Not just any demon. She's the sister of the Demon Lord.]

"What?!"

A relative of the Demon Lord coming to our world… This is gonna be problematic.

[I'm surprised he still hasn't sent out his demon army.]

She then explained that the demon army looks exactly like us humans, but with just pale skin and horns.

She also said that if I came across a demon with pitch black horns and crimson red eyes, I should run away as fast as I could. That dangerous huh?

[Although, it seems that Yuna brought her summoned beasts.]

"Summoned beasts?"

I was kinda familiar with the term, but to think that it really exists…

I pressed Nana on the matter.

[Summoned beasts are monsters that are summoned from the Monster Realm. They are summoned using a Blood Pact.]

"Can I do that too?"

[Yes, but I don't recommend it as of now.]

That was unfortunate, but it can't be helped. I need to get stronger first.
