The Fox and the Dragon
Kai is a powerful fox-spirit from the underworlder. In the war, most of the females were targeted. They were killed as a way to exterminate a race as a way to win the war. This only lead females being scarce among underworlders. When the war ended, the races of the underworld need to have way to keep the peace. Arranged marriages among all of royal family was a way to keep the peace and new treaties could be made. Kai was chosen for the arranged marriages.
Kai had to travel far to a different land where she would have one of the four princes be chosen to be her new husband. The process wasn't completely random. The selection was based on resources the different lands needed and which ones could supply the resources.
Upon arrival Kai meets a ill-mannered dragon named, Armaros. Despite being a extremely handsome man, he was unpleasant and harsh towards Kai. Neither of the two could get along. When it was decided the two of them were going to have to get married, they both strongly opposed. They were forced to marry or have the peace agreement be broken. With no other choose, they had to get married.
Kai had to move to Armaros homeland as part of their marriage agreement. Now having to live in a strange place, Kai felt alone. On top of that Armaros and Kai had to live in close corriders as a way for them to consummate their marriage, and bond better. Luckily for Kai, Armaros didn't want a marriage with Kai. They came to an agreement that they would fake their marriage to keep the peace.
Overtime, Armaros grew feelings for Kai. He slow came to realized being married to Kai wasn't the worse thing to ever happen to him, but maybe even the best thing. She was beautiful, kind, gentle, and at the same time strong, independant, and dependable. He fell in love with her in time, but was nervous to tell her how he actually felt.
Armaros tries to win over Kai's affection, but Kai was oblivious to Armaros new found affection. She thought his affection was part of their fake marriage. Kai had many other marriage proposals as she was a very beautiful strong women. Kai was allowed to have as many husbands as she wanted since there weren't many women left. This infuriated Armaros. He hated other men trying to talk to Kai.
Just because the war was over doesn't mean the underworld was safe. Void creatures were becoming a serious problem. Void creatures started to attack kingdoms and causing chaos for all underworld races. Even banning together to create armies of void creatures. These terrifying creatures were both powerful and smart. Kai had to do something about it. She couldn't sit back and watch as people needed help. But these creatures were too powerful for her to take on by herself.
Will Kai fall in love with Armaros, or will it be someone else? Can Kai figure out a way to save the underworld from the void creatures?
