1 Chapter 1 God of War Kratos

Flowing short hair, handsome face, bronzed skin.

Everything in the mirror made the owner of this body angry, and Kratos roared:

"What other tricks do you want to play?"

In Kratos' memory, he pierced the body of Zeus with the Holy Sword of Olympus, and then killed the father of the gods with his bare hands.

He rejected Athena's request and chose to commit suicide to give the power of hope to mankind.

The last image in his mind was that of him dragging his injured body and jumping off Mount Olympus, and when he opened his eyes, he came to this strange place.

This is a luxuriously decorated room, even more luxurious than the room of Aphrodite, the goddess of love. There was a lot of furniture whose purpose he knew, and a lot of decorations whose meanings were unknown.

For example, a rectangular glass product, I don't know what kind of magic is used, can see distant scenes.

The sun is shining brightly outside the window, and you can see many magnificent buildings, which are taller than the statues of the gods, but they have no beauty and are all boxy.

Pedestrians can be seen on the street below, but there are no signs of horses. Only boxes, large and small, can be seen running at high speed.

Kratos felt a little confused. Logically speaking, he should be dead and would enter the underworld at this time.

He has been to the underworld several times, and also killed Charon, the ferryman of the Styx, Persephone, the Queen of the Underworld, and Hades, the King of Hades.

Could it be that because Pluto was killed by him and the underworld lost its manager, he came to this strange place?

Kratos looked at the clothes he was wearing again. They seemed to be made of very expensive fabrics. They were more gorgeous than the clothes of the Spartan Elders, but they were not conducive to fighting at all.

He pulled off the tie around his neck and the two sleeves of his high-end suit, and continued to roar:

"Whoever sent me here, come out!"

The surface of the mirror instantly became as dark as ink, and two red flames danced, as if they could look directly into people's eyes.

A flattering voice came: "You are satisfied with the appearance I created for you."

"No!" Kratos said decisively.

His original appearance, with his bald head, goatee, scar on the right side of his face, pale skin and red marks, was a presence that would scare away enemies on the battlefield.

The flame in the mirror burned even more intensely: "Let's make a deal, you just need to..."

"I refuse!" Kratos interrupted ruthlessly.

He once worshipped the God of War, Ares, and fought for Him. He also searched for Pandora's Box in the Lost Souls Desert to defend the city-state of Athena. Finally, he became involved in the battle between the Titan gods and the Greek gods.

It can be said that his whole life has been reduced to a pawn in the gods' struggle for power and profit. And now, he was tired of serving the gods.

The door was pushed open, and a little girl walked in, then showed a happy expression, "Dad!"

"Calliope?" Kratos was stunned, then knelt on the ground and held his daughter in his arms.

Externally, he is the white god of death who scares his enemies. Internally, he is a good father who values his family.

In order to cure his daughter's disease, he once violated Sparta's strict laws, fought with the champion chosen by the gods, and brought back the fairy delicacy and secret wine that could cure all diseases in the world.

But it was also him who was designed by Ares, the God of War, to personally end the lives of his wife and daughter. The ashes of his wife and daughter also attached themselves to him like a curse and could no longer be removed.

In order to see his daughter's soul, he broke into the paradise of the underworld and gave up the power to determine the fate of the gods.

But after learning about the Queen of the Underworld's plan to destroy the pillars of the world and return the three realms to chaos, he had no choice but to kill innocent souls in front of his daughter to regain the power to fight.

Kratos, who thought he had lost his right to be a father, never expected that he would be able to hold his daughter in his arms again.

The voice in the mirror came again: "As long as the deal is completed, I can also resurrect your wife Lysandra, your brother Deimos, your mother Callisto, and even your father..."

"Let's skip the last one," Kratos interrupted the mirror's incessant chatter. "I just beat him to a pulp and don't want to kill him a second time."

A black hole suddenly appeared at Calliope's feet, and her body began to sink.

Kratos grabbed his daughter, but despite his immense strength, he was still unable to stop her from falling.

Calliope was so nervous that she called for her father, and then she was swallowed up by the black hole without a trace.

"No!" Kratos hit the ground with both fists, making a big hole in the floor.

The endless anger devoured him, and his skin burned away bit by bit, returning to its original pale luster. The dazzling red mark revealed the whole face, and the ferocious face exuded an aura that would make even the gods tremble.

He once again became the cruel butcher, the executioner of the gods, and the harbinger of disaster - the god of war Kratos.

A voice gulping in fear came from the mirror: "Don't get excited yet. I just let you meet my daughter to show my sincerity. As long as the deal is completed, I will resurrect your family."

"Are you sure you want to make a deal with me?" Kratos said without emotion.

Although he was used by the gods many times, none of those gods ended well.

Ares, the god of war, wanted to use his identity as a warrior marked by Kratos to overthrow the rule of his father Zeus. He was eventually killed by Kratos, and even the title of god of war was inherited by him.

Gaia, the mother of the earth, wanted to use Kratos to defeat the Greek gods, but Kratos eventually pierced her heart with the Sword of Olympus.

Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, wanted to use Kratos' power to rule the world, and eventually became a non-human and non-god existence, losing the power of hope from Pandora's Box.

Those gods always thought that Kratos was a chess piece that could be manipulated at will, but little did they know that they were making a deal with a being more terrifying than the devil.

The person in the mirror seemed to be familiar with Kratos' past. He was silent for a long time, and carefully organized his words: "I will keep my promise and resurrect your family when the deal is completed."

The anger on Kratos's face subsided a little: "What deal?"

"I will send you to several small worlds to perform tasks. I will tell you the mission objectives of each small world through other methods."

"How many small worlds are there in total?"

"Hercules, the Hercules whom you killed, once completed 12 trials. I also need you to complete the tasks of 12 small worlds."

"It's a promise! But if you break your promise, I will make your fate worse than the gods of Olympus."

"I know that you have killed 23 Olympus gods, 3 demigods, 7 Titans, and 7 legendary monsters. I will try my best not to be on your kill list." The person in the mirror trembled:

"In addition, in order to make your journey less lonely, I will give you a gift."

The black brilliance on the surface of the mirror dissipated instantly, and a head was thrown out at the same time.
