Seargent

Ernon nearly forgot about the compulsory one week training course that he must do in order to take the Tier 2 test. He heard the doorbell ring. 'Shoot' Ernon made a gurgling sound in his throat. He didn't like it when people distrupted his dinner.

He slowly got up to put his finished plate away. He had gained a few pounds these few months. He didn't go out to exercise much. Something inside him changed. A feeling inside of him that broke. Permanently.

He realized this when he heard the doorbell ringing continuously. He rushed to get the door, food stuffed in his mouth. He opened the door and he saw a man wearing a solider uniform aged about forty-five standing at the door. He had a scar across his forehead and he didn't look happy to Ernon...

"Get out here, your late!" he shouted with a gruff voice. "I don't care whether you may be one of ISA's top candidates" Ernon frowned. "Sorry...sir" He looked at the name on his uniform:

SEARGENT DERON

The seargent walked down the apartment. "let me just get my suitcase!" Ernon shouted. He doubted the seargent heard him.

The boy thought about what the seargent said to him. 'One of ISA's top candidates?' he thought, smiling to himself. 'Interesting' The sound of the seargent outside woke him up from his stupor and when to get ready.

Ernon gathered up his important things and stuffed it in a small suitcase. He changed his clothes and ran down the stairs. He lived in a decently sized apartment. He could have bought a house, but he was fine with the apartment.

He saw Seargent Deron waiting outside, leaning on a stone wall. He saw a large bus parked outside his apartment block. When he got inside, he noticed that it was jammed with students who he took the Tier 1 tests with. 'So these are the ones that passed' he thought to himself. He made a mental note of some of the student's faces.

Ernon noticed the Seargent eyeing him with interest. When he walked through the aisle, he heard whispers that contained his name... He noticed candidates staring at him strangely. He heard 'Ernon Stellar' and '46'

Ernon ignored the rude remarks and took a seat next to a boy. He had sleek golden hair that almost shone. He was around the same height as Ernon. His blue eyes shrone with excitement when he saw him.

"Hi" the boy said, smiling at Ernon. He looked at the boy and smiled. "Hi, I'm Ernon" he said. "Robin Grayston" the boy said, holding out a hand. "Nice to meet you" Ernon shook his hand. 'Maybe this won't be as bad as I thought...'
