When Tragedy Struck...

While Joseph was in his junior year of college he got a phone call. Before that happened Kathleen and Antonio became alcoholics while he was away. They never heard from him as much as he said they would, it broke their heart. They went to a bar one night and got in their car. The person who called Joseph asked, "Is this Joseph Suarez?" Joseph's heart dropped, and he dropped to the floor pleading to god. Every other day he would plead to God asking "God, why? I didn't mean to get distracted and so busy for them. Just why?" 

Tragedy had struck, Antonio and Kathleen had passed away. Antonio was sent flying out of the car and died as his brain filled with blood. Kathleen died after her head hit the dashboard, causing traumatic brain injuries. Joseph took a year off after hearing this news, he had become depressed after his world had come crumbling down in front of him. He even had to figure out what to do for the funeral while going through all of the emotions. He had no idea what to do.

After a while, Joseph got angry at them. All he did was scream and holler, "Why did you guys get into the fucking car while drunk? You could've prevented this! I understand you guys were struggling but now I'm struggling worse!" Joseph thought they were cowards, because they didnt think twice before getting into their car drunk and driving.

Its been two months after Antonio and Kathleen passing away, Joseph decides its time to get back to his life. The first thing he decides to do before going back to Bridgewater is, cleaning up the house. He thinks it is very burdensome on him. After he finishes, he calls his boss at brook recovery saying that he's okay now, and he's ready to come back to work. Then finally to go back to college. He only has a few years left, regardless he still sticks to his studies instead of partying like every student there. He did know he needed help dealing with his emotions.
