As he was trying to wrap around his head on what was going on, a blue screen appeared in front of him showing his body parameters as a Status. The Old Parchment and The Heart

Meng Tian was cautiously flying through the air to the local headquarters of the Green Devil Cult. And his Soul was looking into the different items that he got from the enemies' storage rings.

His Soul was quietly looking through the densely packed runes on the old parchment. There were thousands of lines which Meng Tian could not understand. But, he swiftly went through them one by one any way. He was hoping to trigger some kind of Experience from his System and understand what this parchment was all about.

His Intelligence was very high and therefore it would not take much time to finish going through the runes on the old parchment. After about three minutes, a prompt showed up in front of his eyes. At this moment, he had completely looked through about one third of the parchment.

[Transmogrification Experience +100]

[Transmogrification Lv.1 (0/10)]

Instantly, a formless black shadow appeared inside his consciousness space which was transforming into a myriad of creatures in seconds of time, never settling on a single appearance. There were many forms which were completely alien to even Meng Tian's imagination.

This black shadow looked like it was staring straight into his eyes. However, it did not hesitate to merge itself into Meng Tian's Soul body... All of which happened in just a few seconds.

Meng Tian executed this technique while he was flying and there was a seamless transformation of his body into that of a woman. His hair grew longer, his chest grew upwards and there was a free flow of air between his legs.

"Damn!! This feels weird. What if?... Seems like Lady Luck is on my side again... Hehehe"

He did not stop as he went on to execute another transformation. His facial muscles and body structure changed into that of the Young Master Diao of the Green Devil Cult. As he was going to their local headquarters, this face would give him the much needed disguise.

Meng Tian immediately added Energy Points into this skill and leveled it up once again.

100 Energy Points spent... [Transmogrification Lv.2 (0/100)]

1000 Energy Points spent... [Transmogrification Lv.3 (0/1000)]

10,000 Energy Points spent... [Transmogrification Lv. Max.]

All of this was happening during his flight. However, just as he finished adding Energy Points to this skill, he saw a prompt that he had never seen before. He instantly stopped mid-air and looked at it very carefully. The skill had reached its maximum limit!

As he sorted out the information being imprinted in his mind, he came to understand the complete skill. Once he finished cultivating the first level of this skill, he could transform his external appearance to anything, living or otherwise. But, he should have already seen this appearance once before.

After cultivating the second level, his body could mimic the bloodline of the creature that he transformed into. At the maximum level, he could even simulate the soul aura of the transformation. If he transformed into a non-living thing, he could also mask his soul aura, such that no one could find him. This skill can even disguise his spiritual sense as natural qi flowing around.

Meng Tian came to know of many different things at once, like the existence of bloodlines and soul auras. He was pondering on the term that caught his interest, 'Soul Aura', as his body slowly transformed into that of his Master Feng Hu.

His pupils suddenly narrowed upon sensing the changes in his appearance. He continuously transformed himself into the images of Fatty Li, Yu Xunuo, Lin Caihong, Teacher Tiao, Nurse Chun Yinghua, Principal Ren, General Han and even his parents.

"I can now sense the so-called Soul Aura of my soul. It surely is unique. I now have basic confirmation that I truly am not of this world. All these transformations have two component auras associated to them. One is aura of the race, and the other is the aura of the world. My soul has the same aura of the human race but the component associated with the world is different."

"Sigh... Am I really dead in the other world?"

Meng Tian was still floating quietly in the sky but the moon was no where to be seen. The stars alone shone brightly in the background illuminating his charming face. However, there was no smile on his face that was filled with melancholy.

He slowly descended into the forest below and sat down quietly for a minute. He remembered all of the time spent with his parents and as he closed his eyes, a drop of tear slid down his right cheek. After a few minutes, he opened his eyes which were greeted by the darkness all around him.

He gradually kowtowed three times to the sky, remembering his parents from the other world.

"I had never put any effort to show filial piety and now that I have passed away from your world, this kowtow is the only thing that I can offer. This is a promise to myself, at least in this new life, in this new world, I will keep my parents safe and assure them a happy and peaceful life."

"I will make this world a much better place for them to live in..."

Just as he vowed to himself, his Soul in the consciousness space trembled a little and a glorious light shot out of it. It passed through his entire body and reached the thousand petal lotus present in his dantian. The Beige Lotus started rotating vigorously sending out strange runic characters which imprinted themselves onto his Soul body. This process continued for a while before finally stopping. His White colored Soul body was now tinged with a golden aura around it.

[Willpower +10]

[Energy Schema Unlocked: Heart Cultivation]

[Innate Heart Source Level 1 (0/10)]

New information started to imprint itself into his mind. A new type of cultivation, a new type of energy, and new stat were unlocked. Willpower was self-explanatory but he did not know how to improve it. He tried to use his Energy Points, but the Willpower column was greyed out, meaning he was unable to add Energy Points to it.

"Willpower stat seems to be an independent one. The other five primary stats are now synchronized with my Qi cultivation. Probably, this Willpower is similarly in sync with my heart cultivation..."

As Meng Tian tried to add Energy Points to his 'Innate Heart Source' which represented his Heart cultivation, it flashed once and then it was also greyed out.

100 Energy Points spent... [Innate Heart Source Level 1 (10/10)]

"Hmm... Energy Points can max out the heart source at a particular level. But it looks like this new cultivation scheme needs something else for me to breakthrough to the next level. Well, I do have the new 'Kill Points' with me. But, the blood red shadow that my Soul swallowed from the Slaughter Experience does not seem like good news..."

"Sigh... I'll just think about it later. I am about halfway from the place where the little girl is being kept hostage. She will be safe for now as they need her alive. But... the more time passes, the larger are the variables. I have to move."

Meng Tian's eyes were currently completely cold and emotionless. However, his travel had no effect on his Soul which continued to look through the next part of the old parchment. Although he was unable to comprehend the runes, as soon as he finished looking through them once, his System would take over for him to generate the skill written on the parchment.

His Soul had somehow upgraded itself qualitatively due to his newly unlocked Heart Cultivation Schema. His Spiritual sense was now tinged with golden aura as well which doubled its the range and increased his computational abilities. Hence, he was much faster and went through the next one third of the parchment as another prompt showed up.
