12 Errands and Lying
Modri dashes off, sprinting through the forest, avoiding all of the animals he can, as he heads towards the Cliff, arriving quickly.
"Hm? Modri? Where is Kaine?" Seirai asks.
"H-he is running errands with his friend. And told me to come here and tell you both something." Modri says while trying to catch his breath.
Modri tells them both everything, explaining the full situation to his knowledge.
"They don't know he is a god..? Strange, and he wants us to pretend to be his parents?" Leon asks in confusion.
"Yeah, I don't understand all of it either." Modri replies.
"Well, we should prepare dinner! And clean up, can't have Kaine's friend thinking ill of him!"
Seirai says as she gets up and begins to wash all of them a fresh pair of clothing, and cleans up while Leon cooks.

"So what are we looking for?" Victoria asks as they walk around the shopping district.
"Hm? Some alchemy supplies," He says as they walk into a store.
"Hello there! Welcome to Jatigy's Alchemical supplies! How may I help you today?" Jatigy says.
"I was looking for a brewing station, as well as bottles if you have them." Ray responds.
"Of course we do good sir! All it'll cost you is 15 silver, but I like you, if you get our bundle deal, I will throw in two mana crystals. They are a great catalyst for enchanting and alchemy!" Jatigy says.
'Hm… Ah I forgot. I'm broke.' Ray thinks as he freezes trying to think what to do.
"Don't worry, I'll pay. I still owe you for the wolf." Victoria says as she puts down a strange tablet with her family's symbol on it.
"O-oh a Fireleaf! Very good!" Jatigy says as he begins to prepare the goods, after a couple minutes they walk out of the shop.
"Where to now?" Victoria asks.
"Hm, probably home, I don't have any money." Ray says.
"Hm… You should be able to make some in the arena, but that won't be for a couple of weeks…" Victoria replies with a look of concern.
"Don't worry, there are many animals in the forest to hunt, I will be fine until the Arena starts." Ray responds with a dismissive tone as they begin to walk off into the forest,
As they are walking, Ray stops and collects herbs and other materials good for alchemy, increasing the time it takes to get there.

When they walk up the cliff, Victoria notices the large stone building.
"Is that where you live?" She asks
"Yeah, before my family got here, I only had a shack, but my father has an earth affinity, as well as Modri so they set up a stone building for us." Ray replies.
As they exit the forest they see a small fire, with Modri, Seirai, and Leon standing by in clean clothing.
'This is more than I expected.. But this is good.' Ray thinks.
"Hello there! I see you brought your friend!" Seirai says as she walks up to Victoria.
"Hello, my name is Victoria Fireleaf, it's a pleasure to meet you." Victoria says as she bows slightly.
'Better make a good impression..' She thinks.
"I won't lie, Modri here told us that you might be coming so we prepared dinner! It's probably not as fancy as what you are used to, but we tried our best." Leon says nervously as he walks up.
'Hm… They don't look anything like Ray…' Victoria questions as she looks at them.
"I-is something wrong?" Modri asks.
"Oh! No, I just can't help but notice that Ray doesn't look much like you… Not that it matters! I-im sorry… I shouldn't have said anything!" Victoria says as she blushes from embarrassment.
"Oh not at all, You are fine! To answer you, Ray isn't actually our son, we adopted him when he was younger." Seirai responds.
'Oh thank god…' Ray sighs as they eat the food that was prepared.
After a couple of hours of nonstop lying and making up random stories the sun begins to get lower, soon to set completely.
"Alright, I guess it is time for me to head home! Thank you for the meal." Victoria says as she gets up.
"I'll walk you home." Ray stands up as well and walks with her, heading towards the city.
As they are walking, they hear growls coming from the forest.
After a second they see slightly larger wolves exit the forest circling them. Around 8 of them in total
"God damn it not again.." Ray and Victoria mutter.
"You stay in the back, I'll fight in the front." Ray says as he prepares to fight
"Tree prison!" Victoria shouts as small trees burst out of the ground trapping two of the wolves.
"Scarlet Funeral!"
The leaves of the tree begin to burn a bright red flame incinerating the Wolves.
'Rapid Step!'
"Wind scythe!"
Ray dashes, covering his hands with sharp blades of wind, and begins to slash the wolves several times, killing 4 wolves quickly.
With only two wolves left, Ray swings his hands out releasing the scythes cutting the heads off cleanly.

"Why are you just looking off over there?" Victoria asks in confusion.
"Oh! Sorry, I was wondering where to hide these to get them back when I return." Ray bluffs.
"Don't worry about that, I'll be fine on my own, you go head home!" Victoria says as she walks off.
"Good night!" Ray yells out as he picks the wolves up and starts dragging them off, returning after a bit.
As he returns to the cliff, he sees Seirai pacing as well as Leon.
"Sorry! She kept asking questions, and we kept lying, a-and.." Seirei blurts out.
"Calm down, you all did very well. She shouldn't be too suspicious. Thank you for your assistance." Ray says calmly
Both Seirai and Leon sigh with relief.
"Anyway, I slayed a couple of wolves, their pelt could be good for either blankets, or clothing. And I would like their teeth." Ray says as he enters his building.
