1 Prologue

"Ugh," Ken moaned, clutching his stomach as pain erupted throughout his body.

When he was starting to come home from school, he noticed things were different. His whole body was itchy, and he was feeling nauseous. It was at the point where he could barely walk. But, luckily he was almost home.

After stepping into his house, he immediately collapsed. He didn't know what was going on. He was in total confusion. That's when he saw his mother leaning over him, with a sad expression.

She called his dad and said something. Ken could not understand anything due to his condition. His family had always been strange. His parents were polar opposites. His mom was an outstanding person who always did the right thing and almost seemed holy. On the other hand, his father was always gloomy, and dark. You would think he was in a gang if you didn't know any better. The only thing that was the same between them, was that they were extremely good looking. Sadly, none of that carried over to Ken.

Now back to the present. Ken was slowly slipping in and out of consciousness as his father was carrying him. As he struggled to stay awake, he saw that they were not going to his room or a hospital. It was more like they were going ... up, somewhere.

Ken could not hold on to his consciousness any longer and eventually fell to a dreamless sleep.

Waking up, Ken did not know where he was. While looking around his room, he saw that he was on a white bed, and all his surroundings were white too.

He got up from the bed but immediately noticed something was off. He just ... felt different. He looked around, trying to find a door to get out of this strange room, but he was unsuccessful.

"Well look who's finally awake. How was your 200,000 year beauty sleep?" He heard a voice say. His father's voice. Turning to the direction of the voice, he saw his father and mother.

"W-Where am I? Is this a dream?" He asked them, confused. What did his father mean by a 200,000 year beauty sleep?

"Nope," His father replied. "You are currently in heaven,"

He could tell his father was right, somehow.

"What? Am I dead?" He asked.

"No. Quite the opposite actually. You're immortal. Sorry for not telling you before," His father said, throwing him a mirror that had miraculously appeared in his hands.

"Woah, honey! I thought we'd take this slower!" His mother said.

"Pfft, might as well get it out of the way, right?" His father replied.

Confused, Ken took the mirror and looked at himself. He could not recognize the face that was shown in the mirror. He was extremely handsome, with white and black mismatched hair. He had a ring around his head, which he assumed to be a halo, except that it was constantly switching between a light and dark color. On his back, he had two pairs of wings. One pair was like normal angel wings, and the other was more sinister, demon looking wings.

Shocked, he looked at his parents.

"W-What is going on?" He stuttered, "What is happening to me?"

"Shh, don't worry. You're okay. We'll explain to you," His mother said in a kind, gentle voice. His mother's voice always calmed him down.

"Okay, now that you've been calmed down by your loving mother, I would like to break it to you. I'm the god of time, and your mother is the goddess of space. And now, you're the god of balance." His father said.

"DAMIEN! WE DISCUSSED THIS!" His mother shouted at his father.

"Uh, mom? Is dad okay?" Ken asked, in a hopeful manner.

"Umm, honey. Your dad is actually right. You are a god,"
