Sam's eyes popped wide the next second the sword ran through Zephyr's back. 'Do not make any contact with the blade' The prince's words were reiterated like bells in his ears. He could only think that the blade was dangerous, or poisonous for him to have been warned like that. 

Seeing the prince struck with the sword, he didn't know what to do but to wait and watch. The world stilled with everyone rooted in their spots. Their heightened sense and eyes turned to where the prince had been stabbed from behind. 

Neo who was on the verge of hitting Lynx with his free hands stopped his movements as his eyes blazed at where his son stood unmoving.
