Meeting Hornet.

/Pale Kings POV/

My castle was cold and quiet as I read the latest reports that one of my servants handed to me an hour ago. I read over the page quickly as rage started to boil inside my body. I threw the report to the side, making it smack the wall.

Pale King: "Damn it! That impudent beast! I have to stop him, I will not let him ruin everything that I've built!"

I walked around the room I was in, the white floor creaked because of how hard I was stomping around. 'How can I stop him… There has to be something, I could frame him or do something worse.' I looked at one of my lumafly lanterns.

The florescent bugs inside fluttered around without a care, even though they were trapped in a cage… I tapped my fingers on my brilliant crown, it was something I would do to calm myself down or to think.

Pale King: "Why am I thinking so much for a little shit like him!? He is nothing else compared to me! I will crush him, even if it means killing millions of innocents. As long as him and the Radiance are out of my way, I can rule my Hollownest! "

I cackled, why was I wasting my energy and thought on a worthless being like him! I am the pinnacle and the king of Hollownest, but him? He is nothing! And he will never be anything, I will assure that future.

I walked out of my room, the hall was empty and had no one in them. I made it that way because I don't want to be bothered right now. My steps echoed throughout the glowing hallway as I walked deeper into my Palace to reach a room I thought I would never need to go to ever again.

In front of me there was a massive gate, it had a glowing seal made of soul etched into the metal itself. This is one of the seals I have made, seals are powerful things that can be used to stop things from interacting with items and people. But it can also seal things within the person who has the seal on their body.

I touched the seal as it dimly glowed, this seal has weakened over the years. I reeled my fist back as a bright shine covered my hand, my soul covered fist slammed into the seal, causing it to shatter and fall apart. The pieces of the seal turned into white orbs and dissipated into the air.

A visible difference between this room and the rest of the palace, was that this room was colored black and gold. I took a step inside, I could feel a sense of nostalgia by being in this room once again. I looked up and saw markings on the wall that resembled a massive black wyrm.

Pale King: "Nice to see you once again… Black Wyrm."

/Excursion POV/

The tight tunnel was filled with a thick layer of silk, the Weavers bent down and crouched in order to move quickly through the tunnel. I managed to keep up with them, we quickly maneuvered through the tunnel. The stalactites fell to the ground as I stomped my foot down abruptly, the tunnel split into two parts and for one of the ways an orange gas flowed from it.

'The Radiance's power is getting stronger, she's already started to affect these parts…' The two Weavers continued down the path that did not have any orange gas crawling through it. I glanced at the gas one last time before continuing down the tunnel.

The tunnel was slowly increasing in size, like something was releasing their grip on it. I then saw some lights coming from a lantern that was perched on the side of the wall, inside there were five little bugs that fluttered around in the lantern. They glowed a soft and delicate light, it was calming.

The weavers stopped crawling and stood up. They started to walk forward, our footsteps combined sounded like the marching of an army. The floor got covered by a smooth stone, and I could see some constructs.

There were statues of Weavers built in the walls, they were old and were mostly covered with thick webs. I continued walking forward, we ended up on a bridge, there was a sign hanged up in webs.

'Beyond this point is the Land Of Beasts, hear our orders or be devoured.' I read the sign, I looked past the bridge and saw many spiders working and patrolling the area. It was similar to the bees but also a bit different in some ways, these spiders had no set jobs and did what they wanted freely.

We continued down the bridge and then ended up in a familiar area, three balls that looked like they were made out of yarn were attached to the roof via webs. Below it there was a black sea that swished and churned.

I knew that one of those balls was actually the home of my mother, Herrah. The Weavers enthusiastically lead me to Herrahs home, inside it, I could hear some clanking. My vision was covered by a blanket of silk, I used my hand to move it to the side.

On the ground in front of me, there was a baby that was wrapped in a blanket of gray silk. She had two short horns that were smooth and not sharp, I bent down to reach her size. She held a little rock in her arms, she flailed it around happily.

Excursion: "Hello…"

I said, as I stuck my hand out in front of Hornet, she looked at it with interest. I grabbed her, and then she bonked my hand with the sharp rock as if she was saying "No!". I quickly moved my arm back and then held it, she giggled a bit.

Excursion: "Well, she inherited the violence of mom…"

Weaver: "We shall leave you alone, my Lord."

The Weavers bowed as they left me alone with Hornet, I picked up Hornet. She looked at me and then reached her arms out and grabbed my two horns.

Excursion: "Well, it is nice to meet you. I'm your older brother, Excursion…"

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Thier everywhere I tell you! I can't escape the Primal Aspids! The horror!!
