Once the date was finalized, everyone in the palace went into preparation mode. The only good thing about all of this was that this was going to be a small and intimate ceremony which would mostly include people only from both our kingdoms. This was because both me and Ketki did not wish for a grand wedding and preferred something much more intimate and stress free.

This did not mean that the number of people who will be present for our wedding would be any less than a thousand. My in-laws were already present here and the only people left to arrive would be from their kingdom. This was important because even while they would take time to reach our kingdom, there will be no delay in the preparations of the wedding as the parents of the bride were here to select everything.
