32. The cunning Red Fire-snake.

After forming a new team, Ju Liyu brought his new team to gather with the new teams which was also newly formed by the Water Academy and Fire Academy. All team members have the same level of cultivation as Ju Liyu's team members. The teams from the two academies looked surprised at Chen Danshou's presence in the Meryu Academy's team, but they all did not say anything to extract information because both teams needed the Meryu academy's team's help.

Ju Liyu looked at the Red Fire-snake who looked tired and had wounds on several parts of its body. He signalled the two team leaders from the other academy to immediately move toward the Red Fire-snake. The Demon Beast had already started dragging the Adult Fire-Cow to the cave where it was lodged. They cannot let the snake finish carrying the Adult Fire-Cow into the nest. If the snake manages to bring Adult Fire-Cow into the nest, it can use the Adult Fire-Cow core-beast to level up and heal all of its wounds.

"Move!"

The three-team leaders gave orders to their team members to storm the Red Fire-snake which dragged its body full of wounds. When all the team members rushed towards the Red Fire-snake, Danshou saw a cold glint in the eyes of the demon beast. Feeling alert, Chen Danshou felt a danger. Following after the team members from Meryu Academy, Chen Danshou watched the demon beast carefully. For some reason even though the demon beast looked tired and full of wounds, but Danshou felt this demon beast was not easy to finish off.

The sound of the battle and the skills thrown at the Red Fire-snake sounded loudly in the battle area. Danshou who had never fought in the group paid close attention to the battle. The three-team leaders direct all team members to attack the Red Fire-snake from all directions. They all seemed accustomed to being ordered by the team leaders. Danshou also threw light attacks at the large snake. Despite throwing a lot of attacks, the snake that looked tired didn't look hurt, the snake's skin was very hard, difficult to penetrate with the skills they mobilized.

Red Fire-snake moves its long tail and hits some of the team members and make them all bounce a little further. Fortunately, all the team members who were hit by the demon beast's tail had used their defence skills so that they were not seriously injured, only slightly injured inside. Seeing the Red Fire-snake still be able to use its tail easily, Ju Liyu glanced at Ji Shuishang who exerted his skills with the water element to make the snake's tail trapped in ice.

Having found its tail trapped in ice, the Red Fire-snake snorted and moved its tail freeing itself from the ice. Before the Red Fire-snake managed to escape the ice, Chu Sheji signalled to his team members who immediately threw a golden coloured rope around the body of the giant snake. Red Fire-snake which was involved by the golden rope and also the ice trapping the tail looked annoyed.

"Ju Liyu, now!"

Hearing the call of the two team leaders, Ju Liyu used his long spear to attack one of the eyes of the trapped Red Fire-snake. Chen Danshou who watched the battle saw a cold flash in the eyes of the demon beast that was going to be attacked by Senior Brother Ju.

"Senior brother, be careful!"

Chen Danshou's cry that sounded anxious, made Ju Liyu somehow feel danger. He tried to stop his spear, but the attack he launched could not be stopped. When his attack almost reached the area of the Red Fire-snake's eyes, Ju Liyu saw the Red Fire-snake open its large mouth and spray poisonous gas.

"Poison?!"

Exposed to poison spray from the mouth of the Red Fire-snake, Ju Liyu was quickly pulled by Chen Danshou. Using his movement skill, Chen Danshou immediately moved some distance from the reach of the Red Fire-snake. He saw that not only Ju Liyu was exposed to poison gas. All the other team members around the Red Fire-snake body were also exposed to the poison gas. Everyone fell on the ground, attacked by the ferocious poison that is sprayed on them.

Looking at the situation of all the team members who got poisoned. Chen Danshou knew that he had to save all the poisoned students from the three academy team members quickly. Forcing Junior Brother Ju to take his antidote, Chen Danshou moved towards the Meryu Academy's team members who were closest to the big snake's body. The Meryu Academy's members seemed resigned when seeing Red Fire-snake's mouth open wide, trying to swallow them all up.

Danshou used the golden rope that was released from the Red Fire-snake's body to tie all the team members who were lying together. Using movement skill related to low-space skills, Danshou managed to move all of the Meryu Academy's team members together in one move. Danshou reappeared with all the team members beside Ju Liyu who had begun to recover from the poison gas he had breathed in.

"Senior brother Ju, please give the antidote to everyone. This junior brother needs to move the other teams."

With one tug, the golden robe detached from the bodies of all the Meryu team members, activating the skill again, Danshou blinking to the place where the group from the Water academy gathered. Throwing a golden rope like a lasso, he tied everyone together, glancing in search for the two team leaders, Danshou didn't find them. Hearing a loud shout, Danshou turned and saw the two team leaders fighting the Red Fire-snake even though the two team leaders looked poisoned.

"Junior brother, please save our team members. We will try to hold this Red Fire-snake for a while."

Nodding towards them, Danshou blinking again brought the academy Water team members to Ju Liyu's place. After sending them to be taken care of by Ju Liyu, Danshou saved the team from the Fire Academy. Panting after rescuing the Fire academy's team, Danshou glanced in the direction of the battle. Seeing the situation of the two team leaders who were starting to look critical because of the poison in their bodies that had begun to turn black, Danshou swallowed several pills to restore the qi that was drained in his body. Using his cultivation skill, Danshou quickly processed the energy in the pill he was swallowing so that the qi in his body was filled again.

"Junior brother Chen, can you save them both? They got very severe poisoning. We cannot let both team leaders die from poisoning. "

"I'll try, Senior Brother."

Blinking again, Danshou appeared behind the team leader from Fire Academy; Chu Sheji who looked more pressured by the fight. The team leader from the Water Academy; Ji Shuishang uses the skill of the water element against the Red Fire-snake and looks more able to fight the snake.

Without further ado, Danshou pulled Ji Shuishang's hand which had begun to turn black like most of his body, disappeared from the presence of the Red Fire-snake who looked very upset because it realized that many of his human prey disappeared, out of his grasp.
