12. Going through top ten.

The arena becomes very silence when Chen Danshou fight's over. Seeing all the people reactions, this young man rubs his nose thinking maybe he's too high profile before (Author's: You think?! Using just a finger to beat someone, just maybe high profile?!).

"I think I know why you like this child so much. He's a lot like you many years ago. Never compromise with others, breaking people's heart easily, making people down."

Gelu commenting inside Danshou's mind. The golem doesn't think his master's act is wrong. When dealing with a weak but arrogant brute like his master's opponent before, finishing him faster like that already merciful to that brute. Nodding to the golem comments, Danshou cast off his guilty feelings.

"Mohe, where do you want to go now? The clan meeting will be held two days later."

Pondering, Chen Mohe keep walking.

"I'll back to the ancestor courtyard."

"Will you come and watching the child again two days later?"

Chen Mohe nod to his friend question.

"Mohe, you wanna keep cheering the boy?"

"Yes, why?"

"But, aren't you dislike to take sides?!"

"I like the boy better than others."

'This old man is really hard to keep up with. He used to said he won't take a side and favour anyone just to be partial and just to others but he keeps bashing me up just for the boy. Damn, it's so hard to handle him.'

Two days passing through just like wind's blow. Today, the clan meet competition starts again. All the participants going to next round already seating in the seat contestant at the side. Danshou and his sister come early today. After waiting for a while the competition starts when all elders and head clan's group arrived.

"Today, the next round for the competition will begin. Like before the number for duel will be seen in the formation. Today we will be getting the top ten. Competition begins!"

After the head staff for the competition giving the speech to start, the duels begin. Danshou waiting until his tag number pop up in the formation. After waiting until more than ten round of fighting (Author's: I'm not giving other cameo fights in detail, too much work to do ^-^;), his number pop up. Seeing his number, Danshou jumps to the formation. He's hoping the opponent today is better than before.

"Hmph, I never thought that my opponent for the duel will be you."

An arrogant voice can be heard in the dimension where Chen Danshou waited for his opponent. When he sees his new opponent, Danshou's face changed. He sneers devilishly, he can't believe his fortune. The young man in front of him with a handsome looking face is one of the previous Danshou's bullies.

'Looks like my fortune is good today. I can beat up one of them.'

"Hey, are you deaf? Why are you not talking?"

"I don't talk with bullies."

After saying that, Danshou moves his body and stand in front of the man. Using his forefinger, Danshou taps his acupoint and make his body limp. Not using his qi just using his raw body power, Danshou starts slapping the man's face a few times until his handsome face swollen like a pig's face. After that, he throws the man to the ground and stomping his feet to the man's body, making his body black and blue. The man can't let out his voice to admit defeat, so Danshou's continue to beat him up until the man passes out and sent outside the formation.

'Hhh, such great revenge.'

Danshou walked outside the formation with a big smile in his face. He feels satisfied to beat up one of the bullies. Looking at the people watching his satiated smile, Danshou fixes his face to cold face again. After that, his tag number showed that he's passing to next round. To get inside the top ten, Danshou's need to fight one more fight. He believes he can get inside the top ten easily.

"Oh my god, that boy's so vicious! He beat the other child until that child transforms into a pig's face, and his body's look so badly beaten. That other child gonna need more than a year to heal all that injuries and continue practising again."

Chen Molun can't help comment at Danshou's action in the arena. He looks horrified with Danshou's action. Looking aside, Chen Molun sees Chen Mohe laugh out loud until the old man's body trembles.

"Hahahaha, that child is so hilarious. He's getting more valiant now."

'Valiant?! That's too kind to say to him!'

Chen Molun grumbles inside his mind.

When the sun almost down, all top ten for the clan meeting is fill. Almost the people in the top ten is Core-level cultivator but amazingly there's three Mortal-level inside the ranks and all of them is the clan head's daughters. Danshou also includes in it, making many clan members whispering among them. They can't protest because they know his powers from the formation's screen show.

The head staff from competition nodding his head looking at the top ten ranks. His eyes linger at Chen Danshou's more because he can't guess who's the young man in the mask is. But, looking at the robe's the young man wears, the elder guesses this young man in the mask from the main branch. When the elder guess of that, his heart feels happy. The main branch got one more good talent is a great thing. With all the top ten ranks filled, the competition today is completed. The next round will be commencing the next day. After hearing the announcement, all participants leaving the arena swiftly including Danshou and his sister.

"Son, do you think you can be the number one in the competition?" asked Lu Yini to his son in the way to her courtyard.

"No."

Hearing Danshou's answer, Lu Yini looks surprised. She can feel his son got high-level cultivation than all the younger generation.

"Mother's know you're stronger than all younger generation, so why are you saying that?"

Looking at his mother, Danshou just said; "I don't want to be Chen clan's heir. It's too troublesome."

"Oh, alright. It's up to you then. Just do what you want, mother will backing you up."

"Thanks, mother."
