Although this is an older book, it is definitely worth reading! It has all of the elements, love, jealousy, betrayal, mystery, and heartbreaking disaster. I would like to add that the portrayal of an autistic child/teen is very well done. The way the family copes with it feels true. It isn’t sugar coated, the family isn’t perfect. There is the love, anger, and frustration a family goes through when they have an autistic child. I feel the author has either had experience with autism or definitely did thorough research. The book is short for a quick read. A welcome respite from long books you invest many hours, days, and months to read! ❤️
I had mixed feelings about this story. The overall concept was really good but the transitions between chapters and volumes could use a little work. I got a bit confused throughout the story because of the placement of backstories/flashbacks. It took me a minute to figure the sequence of events. Overall, it was a pretty good read.
Already finished reading the whole story. The story plot itself is good but it’s to jumpy from one chapter to another and there is some missing information in between. On later chapter come information that “seems like” written on previous chapter but actually it’s not written. So the story is just OK for me. Keep up writing, i know it can be improve more. Thanks for writing the story.
