Awakening II

THIRD PERSON:

Ivan and Irene went to the awakening center with Raez who is in Irene's hand was still and had an expressionless , if one looked at him it would look as if he was totally uninterested in the awakening.

Irene and Ivan had dressed well , Irene was a natural beauty, she was fair and looked pure and her aura was very gentle and welcoming giving a feeling of comfort to anyone.

Ivan was also very handsome he had sharp eyes and had a solemn expression most of the times except when he was with his family and at some events in the village , Irene and Ivan seemed of extraordinary birth and seemed to be different from the people present.

Naturally Raez had inherited both his mother and father's best points , Raez had blue eyes and silver hair, his eyes were inherited by his mother and hair by his father , his looks were mix of Ivan's and Irene's , even as a child he looked like those of noble birth from the royals of Yale Kingdom , the kingdom they were part of.

"Dear what blessing or curse you think he will receive" asked Irene with a excited voice ,

"No matter what he receives we will give him our all " said Ivan.

They finally reached the center there were only 10 people meaning he could be awakened during the one hour period which made Ivan and Irene very happy , most of the time children awaken at a later age due to many children awakening and due to the time lot of 1 hour.

But awakening had its perks and awakening earlier means more time for training and better control and possibilities of evolving the gifts into abilities , the difference between gifts known as blessing/curses and evolved abilities is too much and can never be overcome by a blessing/curse user.

"It's your time dear, don't worry just let it happen gods or devils will come naturally to you based on your connection to gods and devils" said a woman in a suit with a gentle tone.

She had awakened a lot of children and was very experienced with the process , and due to this experience she can comfort children with ease and has an excellent approach to handle problems,

Most of the people in awakening centers are people with blessings and curses related to emotions , the woman has a blessing given by a god , it was known as 'voicing emotions' the blessing would incite emotions according to the user's will , if she wanted to comfort someone she would use the voice of comfort and the person hearing her voice would become much calmer and would experience comfort.

But all blessings/curse had a price to use , the condition to use this blessing is that one can't use one's power on anyone powerful than you and if used it can't be used again for a certain period of time on the same person , also the emotion used on one person will be on cooldown so it can't be used again on someone else ,but it could be used on multiple people on the same time with reduced power.

AWAKENING PROCESS:

Rose went to the chamber and found two radiating handles , the handles gave a faith aura and the other gave an oppressive aura, the faith aura wasn't any different from the other aura but they gave different feelings to the person experiencing it.

She saw a seat and sat on it as she was instructed by the guide before entering the chamber. As she sat on the seat , she started feeling dizziness and soon fell asleep , as she fell asleep and started dreaming she saw a fog and saw two figures in the fog.

These figures looked like black shadows of humans but the figure on the right had something protruding from its head and had something coming from his body ,the figure on the left had something floating on its head, she was unable to see what it was due to the fog , as she was observing them with curiousity she heard a voice.

'Her aptitude is better for blessing' said the figure on the left, the figure on the right was nodding , Rose didn't understand what they were speaking but she was extremely excited , every child who was going to be awakened were excited as awakening gave them a chance to become adventurer , merchant and many more new possibilities.

'Hmmm, her blessing should be "Truth Seeker" , starting the energy injection process soon.' thought the figure on the right but his voice was heard by Rose in her mind and soon felt a flow of something intruding her body , she liked the feeling it gave , the figure was a little surprised .

'Good talent and potential.' thought the figure as he waved his hand and Rose fell asleep , she was smiling as she fell asleep , soon the guide came into the room and lifted the child as she left the room she was quite used to this but was a little surprised by the smile on Rose's face.

As Rose and her parents left the chamber and exited the awakening center they saw a beautiful couple entering with a small child supposedly one year old. It was Raez and his parents, as Raez saw the child going out he felt a feeling he knew that child , he fell into deep thought but didn't get anywhere , he wanted to mark her but they had left already but he saw the child's face and also remembered the child's parents faces too.

RAEZ POV:

This place is giving me a lot of suprises, maybe I'll get some information about this world, finally I can learn something about my surroundings too, I am quite curious about these blessing and curses ,I remember many worlds had powers like this but finally ended up on a single path with the others.

I expect alot of trouble as I will have to act all the time as a baby and I don't understand mortals and their customs, my parents are in a village but looking at them, they are most likely practitioners and they look quite rich too, this awakening is giving a feeling that would answer alot of my doubts.

'Lets see what this Awakening holds for me.' thought Raez as he saw he could do nothing but wait for his turn so he fell asleep.
