The Imaginary Clown: Marvel Fanfiction

A young man named Anthony lives with misfortune throughout his life. He was raised with abuse, neglect, and violence. Fortunately, he has someone in his life who never made him feel alone. Some people say he's just a figment of his imagination. A fracture inside the mind that formed through his environment. To cope with all the pain. Whatever they were saying..... But Anthony knew that was not the case at all, he knew very well that someone was living inside of him. He calls himself, Jihn. ----------------------- Stated inside a mental institution for his crimes and considered mentally insane, he planned a bet with his dear friend, Jihn. If he didn’t got out of that damn prison-like place for 3 months, his so-called imaginary friend will blow everything to bits including the civilians. Will the bet between two insane people be continued or will an unprecedented event happen, that would change both of their lives? (This is my first time writing fanfiction. I hope you can help me progress better for tolerable entertainment.) (PS. Although it’s in Marvel Universe, it won’t follow the MCU version. A lot of other elements will be added to have more spice. Mainly from comics and other genres.)

Strange Explosion

Jihn smiled, a very exaggerated smile.

"No, if you take the reins this time, you'll massacre everyone," you knew every antic this clown has. Especially, that ominous smile, "And I will ignore you for a year,"

"Ughhhh," you knew he's still smiling, "mon chéri.. I'm irresistible! Lying is bad for the heart." he chuckled. You picture him giving you a distorted mocking smile.

What a narcissist, you thought.

"Remember when I ignored you for like 3 months, and you begged me to give you a signal that you still exist?" you stifled a laugh from that memory.

His smile dropped, replacing it with a frown, "Fine, but if you're still here for 3 months," he started humming, "I'll fucking blow this shithole with everyone in it, whether you like it or not." he smiled again, but with no sense of mockery, but full of seriousness.

You stared at the wall for a minute, strangling him in your mind, "Alright, 3 months."

Both of you love challenges, even at the risk of hurting everyone. Maybe you're crazier than you thought you were. What Marvel? mocking yourself.

BOOOOOOM—-!

Everything shook from the ground to the walls surrounding you.

Then, everyone started screaming, "Motherfucker!" cursing at the ringing noise in your ears, complimented by the wails of your inmates.

An alarm blared and every lock magically goes off. You gaped at the scene right before your eyes.

Is this where all my luck went...?

"Haha! Isn't this an opportunity?" both of you exclaimed at the same time, "So does it mean I won? I mean it wasn't even a minute and—

"Hardly," the clown cut you off, "It wasn't even from your own efforts."

But what was that explosion? you thought.

"Who cares? We're free! Merci, terrorists!" he gave a little tap dance while rejoicing.

"This is clearly the work of someone breaking out, not terrorists," you thought carefully, "Jihn, take the rein this time"

If it's the work for meticulous plannings then you're the perfect person for it but if it's just mayhem...

"Je serai heureux de le faire," he laughed.

"I don't know what the fuck you just said," you grunted, "Don't get us killed,"

"It's translated to 'Glad to do so', you uncultured swine," said the disappointed clown.

"What's not knowing french got to do with—," your mind went numb as if you're floating somewhere where time and space don't exist.

'Rude' you thought, you were just talking. Your eyesight adjusted to what Jihn's doing with your body. This always feels weird.

Silence enveloped your surroundings. That's weirder...

Wait, where did Jihn get the knife?

Actually, that's not important, where are all the people? A minute ago they were just screaming,

"éstrange," the clown remarked.

"Yeah, what the fuck?" as you were walking in the deserted hallway, with the clown in the steering wheel, a shiver went up to your spine.

There's no one here, not a single soul.
