74 Meeting

"Grandpa"

"Junho"

Seong Do-yun tried to keep up the tough love grandpa act as he just nodded at his grandson, to his own perspective he owed Junho and his daughter Yuna more than any other due to him blocking her own daughter's dream.

"I've missed you Grandpa."

"I missed you too."

Junho suddenly hugged him but he just decided to keep up his act, shortly after he saw Yuna come up to him and hugged him too, Yuna then immediately took Junho's bag and went to find their rooms since this was where she used to live.

"I hope you will enjoy your stay in this house"

"Is there something wrong here or?"

"Oh this is your mother's house in Seoul, she hasn't stayed in this place since she left for Paris and even when she came back she immediately moved into Seoul."

Junho flinched and he didn't even knew about this, he also thought this was their ancestral home since it looked so clean and maintained well, for a lot as huge as this it was really surprising, he knew they were rich but not like this.

Right now he stopped thinking about it and instead turned to where the others were.

"I'm gonna go see what's going on there."

"Go, I need to talk with your mother for awhile."

Junho nodded and left his grandfather and mother since he felt like the two had other things to talk about, to him seeing his grandfather was already enough since he wasn't particularly close to him but he respected him.

As soon as he went to the others were he saw there were camera's pointing at his grandmother, they were currently interviewing here as she sat by a chair and she looked like she was used to the camera already.

"My name is Myung Eun I'm Junho's grandmother from the maternal side I welcome you to all to my daughter's home I hope you enjoy your stay."

"How would you describe your Grandson or can you share any moments you had with him?"

"Junho when he was young he was such an active child I would visit him in Daegu when their family relocated over there, I still remember him and his sister dancing to 'Perfect Man' he would grab me by the hand and tell me that he had learned a new dance."

"So to speak he was very talented at a young age?"

"Yes he was talented just like his mother, even his sister was a very good singer but she didn't want to do what Junho did since she was such a shy child."

"It runs in the family then?"

"Of course and I'd be the first to say if my daughter pursued her dreams along with my granddaughter they'd be one of the best Hallyu stars out there!"

Junho chuckled as she looked at her Grandmother continued getting interviewed and perhaps in his own view exaggerated somethings here and there, Junho then felt a tap on his shoulder, he looked at it and saw it was Sungmin who looked like he was sweating nervously.

"Ugh Junho I have a quick question,"

"What is it Hyung?"

"Is your grandfather the 'Seong Do-yun' that I'm thinking of?"

"I mean he is my grandfather and I don't know anyone else named Seong Do-yun other than him"

"And that's really your grandmother right?"

"Yes?"

"Ok I was just asking, so this is the place where you record your songs right?"

"No, this is where I used to stay to relax you did say that you guys wanted to know more about my family and this is where we all go when we're tired or what not you'll be lucky to find something remotely close to a computer other than our phones."

"Oh Ok"

Sungmin felt deflated and quietly left while Junho just looked at his back and shook his head, shortly after when he looked back to where her grandmother was it was her mother's time to get interviewed.

Junho wanted to listen but his grandmother approached him.

"Come with me"

Junho nodded and followed after her grandmother to the garden, the two walked together, Junho missed moments like these as he had been busy the past few days, he just followed after his grandmother slowly and enjoyed the moment.

"You know I remember giving this to your mother when it was her 18th birthday, a day after buying this is where I got the news your mother ran away to Paris out of spite since she couldn't pursue her dreams so she went to culinary school instead."

"I guess Mom really did like to do things her way."

"Yes and you inherited that trait, other than that you also inherited her talent and I'm glad you did since you're living your mothers dreams, she hasn't been this happy since I told her no."

Junho just nodded and continued listening to his Grandmothers monologue.

"I know me and your grandfather haven't been the best grandparents out there and even we weren't the best parents out there so we're both trying to make amends and we're doing it the only thing we know and its to make things go smoother for you."

Junho immediately hugged his grandmother.

"Thank you"

While the two were sharing their moment camera's caught the scene and the director quietly left the scene as the two kept talking about things.

"So when will I have my great grandchildren?"

"Ugh about a decade or two?"

"As if you can hide things from me, go to your grandfather later he has a lot of things to say to you and I must warn you he has every merchandise you guys have and secretly stashed it in his trophy room back in his office at Gangnam."

"I made it to his trophy case?"

"Everyone does, he just doesn't like to admit it even he's got an official copy of your sister's degree in there"
