1 The Afterparty

Come on, Amy," Maddie pleaded with all her might. "I got us the V-VIP ticket to this concert. I heard there would be an after-party. I hope the members will be there. Ahhhhhhh," she squealed as if there's no tomorrow.

"Can't do. I'm busy," Amy ignored her sister's plea. "It's the last day of my rotation, and I truly want to relax and be alone… I might be the on-call; who knows?"

Amy knows this is half-lie. Or half-truth. She knows she's not the on-call for the week. She just had her turn not too long ago. She had been pushing herself to work extra hours to not think of Noah. Noah- her boyfriend- now ex, who she just caught cheating on her.

They were the IT couple. Noah was the MVP of their university's football team and the future quarterback of a renowned national footbal team. Amy was the upcoming forefront of the country's pediatric- neurological medical team.

"Lies!" Maddie caught on. Truth be told, Maddie has been seeing her little sister melancholic. After that internet scandal.

"I am the vice-president of this hospital, you know. And I made sure you're not on-call this time. You can't fool me, Aim… nor can you say no. We're going". She said in a commanding voice.

Amy knows her sister is frustrated. Maddie only calls Amy 'Aim' when it's something very serious. Like that one time when they were kids, Maddie found out that Santa was not real.

"Aim, listen. I saw some gifts under mom and dad's bed. It was the same gifts we received from Santa. *sobs* they lied to us, Aimmm…. They lied".

Amy let out a sigh. She can never say no to her sister, and Amy knows that Maddie has her best interest at heart.

"Okay, fine, but no more concerts or parties after this. The last time you left me to follow that idol you love so much," Amy raised her hand as if surrendering to the enemy. She was grateful to her, but also, she knew her sister could get out of hand when it came to her KPOP idols. "And we're bringing Celine."

"Already planning on it," Maddie gleed and dialed her sister-in-law's phone number. 'I hope Celine agrees to come, too,' Maddie prayed to her KPoP gods.

The following night, Celine, Maddie, and Amy put on their best outfit and took a shot of tequila before leaving their hotel.

"I am so excited!! Do you guys have the band's light stick? Should we make a banner? Should we pay for an after-concert coffee truck?" Maddie looked at Celine and Amy as she happily marched towards the elevator.

"I only came for the after-party food," Celine said as she looked at Maddie.

Celine is their sister-in-law. She has the most beautiful green eyes Amy has seen. She was funny, witty, and bubbly. She is beautiful with her long blonde hair tied in a high pony. Plain white shirt and high-rise denim shorts, and a white Dr. Martin shoe, she looks unbelievably stunning. No wonder her grumpy brother fell for her.
