" Good morning EVERY ONE!"

" Good morning Shiyi , you seem awfully happy today. It seems cold helped you get through your stress that was keeping you occupied last week." Maybe my seniors are right. I had been so preoccupied last week about Liyan and all that stuff that I almost got bad scores .

" Don't worry ma'am I'll be just as usual from now on."

" That's the energy I like about you Shiyi. Now let's get in with the schedule."

Should I check up in her? Maybe it's too early for her to wake up .

" Sir the next meeting is in the conference room. " And Mian Gu keeps popping up with loads of work as usual. I'll call her after this meeting.

" Sir you sure can text ma'am of you want . It's too early for calls but text are a good start for the day." Why does he keep smiling at me like a pervert. Well he sure does have many relationship tips. They can be useful for me.

" Take this pills after eating dinner. And do not touch the wound with bare hands. "

" Thank you doctor." The day seems as usual. I finished my routined checkups and patients. I keep checking my phone for no reason. Why isn't he calling me? Is he that busy? Maybe he is .

* Cell phone chimes *

He texted me!!

" Are you better?" Hawww such a cute text. I can't believe he's so cute.

" 'Are you better?' that's the best he got? You sure you are gonna date this dude?" Xia came in the staff room just that moment and peeked in my phone . Well Xia does have a point.

" He should have said something more touching. But it's fine as a start. "

" Sis are you replying him?" She took my phone from my hands then with judgemental eyes asked me.

" Why is there a problem?"

" Sure there is! You should never reply that quickly! Make him wait . That's the best move." Why is Xia winking at me like that? But she's the expert and I am going to follow my teachers.

" Doctor Lan , Dr Shao is looking for you."

" I'll be back in a moment. " She ran off as a nurse called out to her. Xia started to tidy up her table as she just left everything in the middle . Suddenly her phone rang . At first she ignored it but it kept ringing and it was an unknown number so Xia picked it up.

" Hello love. Feeling well?" Just listening to him voice Xia was almost petrified . He has the most manly dense voice .

" Shiyi isn't here."

" Where is she? And who are you playing around with her phone?"

" Well she..." She was just about to answer him back just then Shiyi came back running and immediately grabbed Xia's hands . In a excited tone she said, " Xia you won't believe this! I got to meet our chief doctor William. The one everyone talks about. He is so handsome. I can't believe I got to meet him."

Xia just kept looking at her as she was too astonished at his way of speaking.

" Why aren't you answering? Is that Jiashen? Who called me?" She took her phone from Xia's hands. As soon as she put it closer to her ears .

" It seems I have left my girlfriend out of my domain for too long that she dares to speak of other men?" A terrible gasp left her mouth as she realized who has been listening to their conversation. She took the call to a more quiet place.

" Liyan? "

" So this Dr William ..he is handsome?" Jealousy was overflowing his voice . A clear sense of frustration was in his speech.

" No absolutely not! I was joking. "

" I am going to take you out for dinner tonight. Be ready at sharp 9 o'clock. And do not make eyes on other men love. I am not a very patient man." Saying that last sentence he cut the call. Even if he's frustrated he didn't forget his manners and the sweet way he addresses her. As he cut the call she collapsed on the chair beside her. His gentle yet burning warning drained out all her energy. She got a chill down her spine as she felt that she's in trouble now. She kept cursing herself for not being aware and speaking all that stuff without learning he's on line. Tons of thoughts ran through her head but she suddenly stood up in full confidence , " I did nothing wrong! I have nothing to fear of!"

Though she is trying to be confident but she still is very weak is front of that damn man who is filled with dominance and cruelty.
