12 Announcement

A/N- hello again, previously I mentioned how my work schedule will be hectic for the next few days. Well it may take a step above that which had led to me pondering over something. I've received numerous comments and reviews seeking new chapters for all my stories yet I simply do not have the time for all of them. Which is why I have come to a decision.

For the rest of the week I'll try to focus on this story but after this week I will devote all my attention to ONE of my stories until I complete it. I know this is unfair, however it's simply the position I'm in. Therefore, all my readers should vote on which story I should focus on from next onwards. Simply comment which story you think I should choose from the list below:

Next Monday I will begin writing for that story alone until it's complete. Once my schedule frees up I will be able to begin writing more. Thank you for reading and now onto the actual chapter.

The room dimmed and a man coughed into the microphone drawing everyone's attention.

" *cough* I'll keep this brief, you have travelled here today in search of knowledge! To hone your craft and acquire new skills and when you have finished you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people!

But I look among you all and all I see is wasted energy. A need of purpose and direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step."

Ozpin finished his ominous speech which captivated the students and spread murmurs amongst them. He does have valid points but he was just so morbid about it.

Miss Goodwitch then dismisses is for the night, most went to the changing rooms to slip into more comfortable clothing for the night. I went to my locker to place my weapons and armour so I can call them on command. It reminds me of the iron man recall function slightly, maybe that's where rooster teeth got the inspiration?

It was the evening time so I headed to the mess hall and grabbed myself some grub from the open buffet they had for orientation day. I had a burger and some fries for my dinner before going for a walk around the school grounds to familiarise myself with the layout.

The more studious students were following my example and planning paths from the dorms to classrooms and the training facilities. I swung around the gym to see what they had and found it to be quite similar to the one in my home.

All that wealth that Ozpin has amassed over the eons is most likely being pumped into the school. I tried finding Pyrrha but she didn't respond so she's either bathing or already asleep. So I went to the changing room and slipped into my sleeping wear. I came out in an orange tank top with a chomped Apple on it, my sister bought it after seeing all my baby photos of me chomping red delicious apples like I was Adam from record of ragnarok.

I also wore some black shorts that ended half way down my thigh. Walking out of the room I felt numerous hawk like gazes on my body. Hunters have astounding libido due to aura boosting their bodies since childhood so this is nothing new to me.

Watching some girls scoot away from their sleeping bags and pat the ground next to them was a new experience. It's the first day and they're all pretty forward.

I spotted ruby and yang looking at me, the younger blushed while the older one but her lips. I just shook my head and walked over towards one of the lamps, coincidentally a young black haired Asian girl was sitting there with her nose buried in a book.

"Is the spot next to you taken miss?" I asked as her golden eyes rolled up to me. She then said "wasn't there a better spot?" Before scanning me more thoroughly, her bow quivered when she spotted my abs against my tank top.

I sighed "honestly I'm more worried that someone with get handsy with me if I sleep near them. You didn't look at me like a piece of meat when I walked in so I thought why not?"

I then watched her eyes scan all the envious and hateful glares aimed at us. She then looked back to me "typically it's the woman who's stared at like that so I can understand your position. Have a seat"

I chuckled "glad your not sexist to think males don't receive the same looks as females." Her shoulders shook in a mild chuckle which she quickly suppressed.

"My name is Blake Belladonna". "I'm Jaune Arc, it's a pleasure to meet you blake. I don't suppose your Ghira's daughter?"

My question shocked her and her eyes fully locked onto me. She looked like she was either about to sprint away or slash my throat so I raised my hands. "Woah woah, I'm a friend Of Ilia's. She often talked about you and she meets up with your parents a fair bit. Your father is a wonderful man from what I heard."

"How do you know Ilia?" She asked pointedly so I pumped my chest "we're in the same gamer group!" My response took a little for her to process. She couldn't imagine Ilia playing games however it had been a long time since they had met. So I pulled out my phone and showed a picture of us meeting up two years ago.

Watching the kitty process it was quite funny, when she looked back up to me I said "she misses you, apparently a lot of people back at your place do."

She looked down at her hands so I sat down with a thump. "That's a nice bow, I won't tell anyone unless you want me too". She said "thank you Jaune". Before we could continue ruby approached us and made the same conversation as canon but Blake wasn't as invested as she processed her friend and family missing her.

I yawned and chose to go to sleep, i developed that ability to fall asleep anywhere at anytime over the years. I figured I would need it for school again. As I dowsed off I heard weiss start and argument with ruby and then they resolved it amicably.

The next morning my eyes snapped open and I tossed a pillow at a certain ginger before she could start smacking pans together. I'm not looking forward to some own going full bad girls club on me. Though I think the remix of that might have been a banger back in the day.

Nora Valkyrie pulled the pillow down and screamed "Hey! What was that for!" "You were going to scream and knock some pans together to wake everyone up. This is better".

Her shout still woke everyone up but hearing me they all gave me thankful looks. Lie Ren was looking at me like I was a prophet, I predicted a catastrophe and stopped it. I yawned and sat up to stretch causing numerous popping noises.

I turned and saw blake looking at me so I greeted her "morning, wanna get some breakfast. I'll cook~". She then tilted her head "you? You can cook?"

"Yup, my mother made me learn all aspects of husbandry so I can cook, clean, sow, do laundry, garden and engineer". The women nearby had glowing eyes after hearing me, can you feel that? It's boyfriend material~. She just stared at me before asking "what's on the menu?"

"I was thinking shrimp broccoli seafood breakfast frittata and a tuna mushroom egg bake." I watched drool leak from her mouth comically "if you can cook those I'll marry you" she said in her normal tone. I couldn't tell whether she was kidding or not but considering her reaction to food in the show she may not be kidding.

I laughed "ah yes, the way to someone's heart is through their stomach. Imma wash up then get to cooking. After that we have the induction to determine our teams right?" She nodded and said "best get a move on then" and then blurred away to the bathroom. Yup she's just as addicted to fish as in the show.

I followed her example and got a quick shower, so glad I kept my hair short. Long hair means more time caring for it plus it gets in the way a lot. My hair is styled similarly to David Beckham and Ryan Reynolds. No beard yet, I figure I'd wait until we survive the fall of beacon.

So after washing up and getting glared at in the changing rooms by some guys I went to crack some eggs in the kitchen. Blake was sitting their with a book in hand yet her own fork and knife was already waiting on the table. 30 minutes of cooking led to two portions for each of us. After placing hers down she immediately began tucking in with a joyful look on her face.

"So? What's the verdict?" "You should quit being a hunter and be a chef, also please marry me once you graduate" she asked as she was going through a foodgasm. I just laughed and bit into my own. While we are I asked her questions about menagerie and Ilia to break the ice. Political things aren't the way to getting close to Blake. After that we began talking about books, i of course recreated harry potter so made that my main conversation piece.

She linked the idea of horcruxes to the book she was reading titled "a man with two souls". But then I said "Blake that book is titled the ninja of love, you have a false cover over it." Watching her blush then fire her book at her bag before turning back to me and blatantly denying it was hilarious.

After that we got up and went to change into our combat gear. I can't wait to start skydiving.
