Chapter 5

" so miss Tornf would you like to explain how you feel to me a little more clearly " the therapist was hopeful this time. she had finally told him something though it was very little and he wanted her to talk about it more.

But Tornf was not one to express her emotions " We're done here ". And she stood up to leave.

"Miss please sit down and let's talk m..." the therapist tried to explain but Tornf shut him off

"i said we're done. Goodbye Mr. Walters. have s nice day". And she left his office.

This was the sixth therapist she had t

been to and sure far he was the only one that managed to get something out of her but that was all he was getting. she wasn't coming back here. She wasn't going to any therapist again. It was bad enough that they put her in a mental asylum where she was tortured but now they wanted her to talk about it? What kind of family did she have.

she was so sick of them.No more therapist. she has been fine on her own and they weren't going to brainwash her . Never again.

" Perimeter secured. Nobody's been in or out of the building since we got here" one of the trackers informed Tornf.

"That's good. And you haven't been able to sense anything since you got here?" Tornf asked but she really didn't care.

" No mam"

" Alright. let's have a look then" And they went into the building.

" You got anything?" Tornf asked them. They had been five trackers sent there and only two of them were in the building with her while the rest were outside. It was far away from the Michael Mansion but still within the border. The wolves had been planning this and it seemed that there was no one there.

" It's clear "

"Mmm" she hummed. There was someone in here. she could sense it. It was faint but the person was there and the fact that she was the only one who could sense it made her know that they were concealing themselves. This person was of low rank and so the others couldn't detect

him.

She headed to the stairs and started climbing without uttering a word. This house had been abandoned for years. it was of their oldfacilities that had failed during to a minor explosion. the building hadn't been completed and so it was abandoned.

Tornf went from door to door searching or at least pretending to. she knew exactly where the person was hiding. when she finally got there, she randomly checked until she stood in front of a curtain where she thought the person would be hiding . she pulled the curtain open and stared for a few seconds.

"Is anything wrong miss Tornf?" one of them asked.

"No. there's nothing useful here. You guys can go".

" What about you?".

"I'm leaving too. Let's go" she pulled the curtain back and they heeded downstairs. The trackers started leaving while Tornf was making a call. In truth, she wasn't making any call but was only buying time.

After they left, she went back into the building and back to the curtain she had pulled before. She pulled the curtain again and stared t the little girl who was crying silently. she couldn't be more than seven years old. 'What was she even doing here' she thought.

Tornf bet in front of the frightened kid and raised her hands. " I'm not going to hurt you. I just want you to come with me where you would be safe. You can trust me" she smiled weakly at the kid who just continued to stare at her.

" How do I know you won't hurt me?" Tge little girl was beyond frightened.

" Cause I would have done it already. No come on don't be scared. Give me your hand" . Tornf placed one of her hands in front of her so that the girl could hold it. she reluctantly reached for her hand and held it which caused Tornf to smile more.

" Now come on kid. we have to ho before anyone sees us". And she began pulling the kid out of the building.

" It's clear" Her beast told her. Thought she had stopped talking to Trodix, the creature was in every reflection she saw and it was hard to ignore her. Tornf listened to her and went out the door where . She headed straight to her car when she was sure no one saw them.

She got into her car after putting the kid in the car seat and headed straight to her house.

She had broken a rule and she knew it but she couldn't leave the child in the hands of those monsters. They would torture her or worse off kill her and she would never let that happen. The kid was her responsibility now and she wasn't irresponsible .
