Weaklings Strengths (1)

Unease filled the hearts of those who supported Malcom, especially his friends that were watching the fight intently.

They could see his situation, and they all thought that the fight was over. Malcom might lose.

Jonah, in the box for the Virtues, could not help but to clench his jaw when he saw how strong and distractive Skyler's twin suns were.

Personally, he knew that even if he tried to fight the twin suns head-on, he might not be able to get out of it unscattered.

What more for Malcom? He would be completely toasted.

At that moment, the intensity of the attack dazzled the spectators. Everything seemed to indicate that the battle had reached an end.

The flames burn that entire segment of the forest. They could all foresee Malcom's destruction.

Just as they were all braising themselves for the fight's climax, at the last second, Malcom suddenly rose almost sixty meters into the air avoiding the attacks.

'What the hell happened?' Mabel silently thought as she stared at the fight intently. She knew that Malcom would not let the fight finish so soon, but she was still surprised at how the fight was turning out.

Aside from Mabel, the entire audience could barely follow the power of the fight.

No one understood how that young man could fight Skyler that way.

In the box of Virtues…

"I see, that boy is smart," Jonah praised. He seemed genuinely interested in combat.

Mabel smiled tightly before speaking, "I told you he's a slippery rat."

Jonas looked away from the screen for a second to give Mabel a glance. He then chuckled and said teasingly, "You don't know what he's doing, right?"

Mabel snorted as if it did not matter. She went back to concentrate on the ongoing fight.

In the air, Malcom watched the devastation Skyler caused with one of her attacks.

'Tsk. A really scary woman,' He silently admitted. Malcom could barely evade it. 'Hope she takes time to recharge.'

However, that wish was not going to happen soon. As Malcom fell back on the ground, a firebolt was on his way. He evaded it by forcing his body to move to the sideway.

"I still got you!" Skyler shouted.

Skyler's hands were raised towards Malcom's direction. She met him in the air as she expelled a large amount of fire until it took the enormous shape of a red and orange sword that towered over her opponent.

"This is the farthest you go, bastard!" Skyler swung the sword to destroy Malcom while he was still helpless in the air.

The sword passed right by where Malcom was. It's great extension slammed it's end against the nearby lake.

When the flames made contact with the water, a huge cloud of steam spread throughout the clearing as Skyler landed, trying to contain the shaking of her hands that was already uncontrollable.

She had reached her limit.

Exhausted, Skyler looked in all directions repeating herself over and over again, 'This time, I got him! For sure I got him!'

She did not understand why the bio dimension did not fade. There was no way that boy was alive unless she hadn't managed to hit him.

In the stands…

"No! She killed him!" Violet yelled in fright.

"Not yet," Ben answered, but he was still nervous. He continued to assure Violet, "The dimension is still active. That means Malcom is still alive."

"God, that woman is invincible. You saw all the destruction that she could cause…" Violet uttered furiously.

"Yes, she is living up to the expectations-" Ben halted as he suddenly had an idea.

He began to understand what was going on.

"I know what he's doing!" Ben suddenly blurted out with excitement.

Meanwhile, in the box…

Mabel watched the screen with great interest.

"How does he do that?" Jonas asked curiously.

"She is a prodigy! She can match the attacks of a level one magician without any official training!" Mabel said without paying much attention.

"Not her, I mean him!" Jonas answered, "How does that boy move in the air?"

Mabel looked away from the screen to look at Jonah and ask, "What are you talking about? I thought you knew what he was doing?"

Jonah scowled, "I thought I knew. But he has already done it several times. You haven't noticed?" He asked with a voice that only allowed Mabel to hear.

"Noticed what?"

"He jumps high and then comes down with speed as if he is flying, but no materializer can do that without materializing anything. I thought there was an item or something that would show up suddenly, but I don't see any," Jonah explained with unmasked interest.

"Moving in the air... I hadn't noticed," Mabel muttered, putting her eyes on the screen one more time.

'How does he do it?' Jonah continued to ask himself.

At this time, Skyler was squeezing her hands. Her hands felt like they were burnt.

She didn't quite understand why but they were hurting, more so as a second passed by.

"You died?" She asked calmly, despite being in great discomfort. Skyler couldn't see if her attack hit the target. The sooner she could finish the fight, the better.

Malcom did not answer.

Skyler did not understand why the dimension was still active. The only answer is that the young man was alive.

She did not understand how he had been able to escape from that, but he had succeeded.

Suddenly behind her, two of his chains hit her, tying her completely.

Skyler could not withstand the impact. She fell to the ground, but it only took a few seconds for her to light her limbs on fire and free herself from his absurd traps.

"Did you run out of ideas, idiot?" Skyler mockingly asked.

Malcom chuckled, "Look up, sweetie."

As soon as she did, she saw a colossal sword descending upon her.

Skyler thought of moving, but before she could do it, from the other side of the forest, a strange beam of energy appeared towards her and froze everything that was in its path, including her.

As the gigantic sword descended, everyone in the rostrum held their breath thinking that Skyler might finally be defeated.

The sword came down, and when it was about to hit Skyler's iced figure, a huge explosion appeared.

Like an erupting volcano, an intense flare appeared. It flew towards the sword's direction.

The blaze was so powerful that the trees near the clearing were set ablaze just from the heat that attacks sent forth.

The sword shattered, and the smoke around the clearing began to dissipate as Malcom's figure began to walk slowly toward the center of it.

"What an idiot!" Mabel said as she watched as Malcom approached, "He had fought well, but now he is exposing himself too much!"

"I think you are the idiot," Jonah snorted.

Mabel scowled before she looked at Jonah, challenging him to explain himself before she rained down her wrath on him.

"And also everyone in this stadium, that boy just completed his plan!" Jonah yelled before laughing out loud.
