Skyler Vs. Malcom (2)

Malcom began to climb the stairs to the platform.

"And now, to face this young man, the goddess of fire, everyone's favorite, the best warrior! The one with the perfect record! The only one, the indisputable, the invincible, Skyler Magma Sonfild!"

Malcom heard the commentator spoke, with a combination of pity and fun while looking at him.

He resisted the urge to roll his eyes sarcastically. All the commentators acted the same way for every fight he had.

The voice of the commentator was instantly devoured by the shouts and cheers of the audience.

Everyone shouted and chanted the name of the young woman as she approached the platform.

All clapped frantically while their hearts pounded for the spectacle to be witnessed.

Skyler, with short hair, walked towards the platform, black leather pants and a white sweater with a dragon stamped on the back, her walk was firm, and her fierce gaze fell on the eyes of Malcom, who was smirking as usual.

'The girl is really angry, good,' Malcom thought to himself, satisfied. However, he still could not ignore that he was also nervous.

She raised her eyes. She was stepping on the stairs with such firmness. Her every step was heavy, as if she wanted to destroy the ground.

"This is the first fight of the Virtues tournament. Before beginning, let us listen to a few words from the head of the Virtue Council, Maximo, the sorcerer," the host said when Skyler was in front of Malcom.

In the main box, the man with the white cape and blond hair got up.

"You will have the honor of showing your skills to the Virtues. Do a good job, and don't hold back. Go with everything from the beginning," Maximo said seriously.

At his place next to Mabel, Jonah whispered, "He only missed saying that his words were for Skyler. I bet he wanted her to kill the other kid with one blow."

Mabel only smiled in response.

After Maximo spoke, the commentator took the floor again and said the familiar rules, "The combat will take place in the second dimension. The scenario will be chosen by the person with the greatest magic power.

Whoever kills his opponent or leaves him inactive for more than ten seconds will win. Magic treasures are allowed and will have a time of forty minutes. If they have not won in that time, the Council Sacred of Virtues will choose the winner for their performance.

You both understand the rules?"

Both of them nodded.

The commentator continued, "Put your hands on the Biosphere."

They both placed their hand and the red color of the side where Skyler was immediately took the whole Biosphere, making it clear that she had greater magical power.

Malcom smiled at the obviousness of the situation.

"Skyler, think about the scenario and let the Combat begin!" The commentator yelled enthusiastically, and then the audience cheered after.

A light bathed both young participants immediately, and they were transported to a vast forest with a lake and a large clearing in the middle.

Skyler was standing in the center of a clearing. She was looking in all directions. The place was perfect for her, and everything was very flammable.

Somewhere in the forest, Malcom took five cards as soon as the fight began.

The materializer tossed a card to the ground. It turned into a door only to drop another card high up in the air.

When it reached about sixty meters in the air, another door appeared. Skyler looked at this door and saw how it opened.

The door on the ground was opened by Malcom, and then he entered. Malcom appeared in the air through the door that was in the sky.

He began to fall at high speed but quickly dropped two more cards that activated dropping large metal tubes.

Confused, Skyler dodged the tubes immediately. The tubes fell in various places on the floor, around her.

Skyler was intrigued by what was happening. She lit her hand on fire to shoot the young man in the air, but out of nowhere, he shot to the ground at the edge of the place where all the tubes had fallen around her.

The girl prepared to attack, but the young man took one of the tubes and unwrapped it as if it were a sheet of paper, and all the tubes stuck in the ground did the same.

When this happened, Skyler lost sight of Malcom and now seemed to be in a kind of labyrinth.

The fabrics that had appeared began to glow, and all became mirrors that reflected various places in that newly built labyrinth.

At that moment, Malcom took the fifth card and turned it into a spear he embedded it against the mirror.

Instead of breaking the mirror, this spear plunged into it as if it were made of water, and suddenly the spear entered and left the walls of the labyrinth traveling at high speed through it.

Skyler touched the wall in front of her, and her hand appeared somewhere else in the labyrinth, and at that moment, she understood, they weren't walls.

They were portals.

However, that moment of understanding was brief because a spear appeared in front of her and was about to stab her. It only gave her a fraction of a second to react.

Skyler could barely use her powers to jump a great height, helped by her fire she moved away at high speed from that labyrinth.

When she reached the highest point she could, she directed her gaze to the edge where the portals had fallen, and she saw how Malcom was smiling standing next to a huge crossbow.

By placing a card on it, which shone and threw a gigantic fireball in the direction of Skyler, the young woman prepared to attack, but other fireballs arrived from several sides.

Skyler was surrounded and without the opportunity of dodging them when they all made contact, and a huge explosion covered the sky.

Everyone in the stadium was speechless.

Nobody understood what had happened.

This time not even Mabel could explain clearly how that had happened.

Only one person was smiling with much gratification, and it was Jonah.

Suddenly from the cloud of smoke in the sky, a strong bolt of fire shot towards the ground. When it landed, a huge explosion destroyed the entire labyrinth that Malcom had built.

When the explosion and smoke accent. Skyler appeared standing on a small crater.

She had a complicated expression on her face while looking at Malcom, who was smiling.

Skyler's sweater was in pieces, and when she took it off, she was left in a white shirt that showed her arms somewhat scorched.

Malcom whistled before he said thoughtfully, "You are really a tough chick. Didn't die after all those."
