Chapter 346: Go Steal

Upon learning that Su Yunjin had sent fish to both Mrs. Chu and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Zhang's face darkened with anger. Su Yunjin really didn't consider her, the eldest sister-in-law, at all.

Every time there were treats to be given, she was always left out.

Mrs. Zhang was so angry she felt her teeth itch.

She became even more determined to steal.

If Su Yunjin wouldn't give!

Couldn't she just steal some?

It was daytime now, and not a good time for Mrs. Zhang to make her move.

Mrs. Zhang planned to sneak into their kitchen with a water bucket after dark, and then steal a bucket of the fish Su Yunjin had bought that day.

Gu Ya needed a bath, so Su Yunjin went to fetch a basin of water for him. Now that Gu Ya had trouble with his legs, he could only manage a simple wipe-down when bathing.

After preparing the water for Gu Ya, Su Yunjin stepped out.

Leaving Gu Ya alone in the room to wash himself.
