Part I: The Human Maze

Emotions are like a maze; every path leads somewhere and every-way has its unique and complicated shape. You wander through it, sometimes it is green and warm and sometimes you have to walk through the vine and darkness to reach the other side. Not every direction feels pleasant, yet we walk, run or even crawl with the hope to find the better end.

We wander and listen to our own whispers. Whispers so light, yet sharp enough to pierce your heart. They seduce you with their beauty and beatific glow as you wonder inside your maze. You follow them blinded and you feel that all the good in the world is within your touch. Then, you hit the wall and fall like the snow. Everything becomes black and the glow fades back. Those whispers turn dark and unleash the demons that lurk around. You look at them and sigh.

"I was blinded again, didn't I?"

You let them do what they do every time. Cut you to pieces and wait for you to die, yet this time you look at the wall as it weeps.

"What's different this time?" you ask the wall while you bleed away.

"You end up here every time," The wall said under his tears. "I keep seeing you getting hurt as your blood fills the air. What do you seek here?"

You watch the sky as your vision fades away. You look around and find your past selves rotten in every corner.

"I too wonder how I end up here. I guess I just wish you wouldn't be here." You turn to the wall as your eyes bleed what is left to fill the air with droplets. Droplets that gives the whispers their glow back.

"I just wish I can move or fly away. I just wish I weren't here just for you and her to meet," The wall cries as his tears fly through the air. "but life made me this way, yet no matter how much I see you, I wish you would just take the other way. How can the two of you still end up here looking at the sky?"

You look above the wall and see blood drifting away from the other side.

"How can I take another way, if we always end here."

You close your eyes and feel your heartbeat become light.

"This is the only way we could meet."

"Not every way has to have a good ending. That is why life was never a linear experience. You should try to approach it from another side. If that does not work, maybe it is time to consider another way. A way that lets you both meet while leaving your sorrow beside that wall that stopped you each time."
