Chapter 28: Confessions Part 1

*Roharu*

I watch her sleep and her calm breathing relaxes me. Anger still boils inside of me, and I feel the need to kill someone before I can satisfy my need for justice. This is proof that I can’t just forget about the past, who could possibly try to kill her? Why did they target her? Why is everyone trying to kill everyone I love?!

Mei Li told me that I should consider more than one person because to go to the extent they did, would require a lot of coordination, resources, and connections. One wolf only, even an Alpha, wouldn’t be able to pull all of this together.

Xavier walks in with her and they both look at me, sitting on the floor, holding Sienna’s hand. “I am not moving from here, so speak up,” I tell them out loud. I know Sienna is awake, she has her eyes closed, but I feel her heartbeat and I sense her.

“We eliminated half of the list already,” Xavier reports to me but I don’t care about those who have nothing to do with it, I care about those who I need to kill.
