49 Twist Of Fate

Xia entered the house.  She held the gun tightly to her fingers. Her face void of any emotion, not even fear.  After experiencing indescribable pain inside the warehouse,  she's no longer scared to face anyone at all. She don't feel anything at all.

The deafening silence greeted her when she was once inside, with the the gun pointed towards her front she made her way to the living room. Even her footsteps did not make a sound as if she was floating in the air.

"Are you searching for me?"

It was Xyrus,  comfortably sitting on one of the sofa, he had a glass of wine on his hands.  His chest was bare and he wore only a boxer shorts to cover his nakedness.

He made no move as she began to approach him with the gun still in her hand.  He did not even  flinch when she aime the gun at his direction. He paid her no attention at all. He just sat there savoring the rich flavor of the expensive wine.
